I forgot to watch last night because I was so tired from school and work :( :( :( Would have loved to see that take off to see those two develope more, but I think they screwed up that episode too bad to make it happen. It felt too forced all the way around. I do love watching Jody and Donna interact with each other. Yea, I was hoping that wasn't the case. Yes, of course a hashtag since I was only joking. However, if he did say something like that, I would bust out laughing. Maybe a little Dinosaurs hastag would be great, too..... #notthemama #notmydad BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I had a hunch that she might be lying to him. I'm just wondering if Lucifer was behind it. I'm gonna say no, only to her character in particular. The angels in the AU AND the Leviathan in our world both know she's not like most humans, but she's not exactly a big bad. I kind of expect her character to remain the same regardless of what universe she's in only because there's something a little bit different about her. Of course, if they would expand on her character a little bit more, we might know more about why she is the way she is. I like Charlie mainly because she's very "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"-ish, but way more talkative. That's kind of why I'm hoping that we'll get some more information on her if they keep her around. Even if it's in the alternate universe. I thought that maybe because I didn't like her too much, I might be biased against her. But, knowing that they try not to waste screen time with characters on most shows, I'm guessing she's poking around for an unfortunate reason. Well poop. I did notice something "off" about the cave, but I figured that was just a part of it. This episode was freaking hilarious! I kind of wish they could keep it more light-hearted like this. Cas was awesome in this episode, lol. I'd love to see him paired with some characters like Shaggy and Scooby in the future. Woo woo! Gabriel is back to talking! I do love me some Gabe ;) If you've watched any of the more recent Scooby Doo, you might get what he's talking about. The kids are in some sort of alternate reality. It's listed as Scooby-Doo! Mystery Ink. It's not that Daphne is "bad" per say, more like she's not how most of us would remember her when she was growing up. I enjoyed her portrayal of her character, but I'm not 100% on board with sister Jo after this episode. The one thing that I did like was that her character didn't do a 180. She knows who she is. She did a great job though. The Winchester twitter responses are perfect! Yeah! I enjoyed this one last night. I'm kind of getting more and more partial to Donna (still love me some Sam though). I was a little bummed that what's his name left her like that :( I get, it's not for everyone and he even owned up to how he felt, but it was a bit of a bummer. Good show though. By people, I believe you mean the media? However, I also think what some women are tired of is the stereotypical depiction in movies/tv shows/books of the clueless and weak woman. Let's be real here, most of us aren't like that at all. And all men are NOT chauvanistic pigs. Most men are decent guys. But unfortunately we remember the degenerates more than we do the guys who aren't. I was pretty happy when my kid (who's just about an adult now) took to Lilo and Stitch the way she did because for once it wasn't a princess movie. It was a girl on an adventure. We went and saw Hidden Figures because I wanted to find out more about these women that I did not grow up knowing about who lived, geographically speaking, right in my backyard for the most part! Like, TF, over? Imagine how many more girls would consider pursuing a career in space exploration/aviation if they knew about women like this. Heck, I really didn't even grow up learning about the other women that worked with them. We did go see Wonder Woman together. I loved that freaking movie, but I've never been much of a WW fan. I think the only thing that I didn't like was the night she spent with what's his name. Now in the same sense, I also hate when movies/shows/spinoff books for Sherlock Holmes try to give him a true love interest. Let that guy be and let WW be too. I kind of think it cheapens the character. So, in a show that's not based in reality, we're worried about using a skinny girl to be a badass? Hmm.... There are arguments to be made based on our ancient relatives and how relatively skinny they would be compared to women now, yet were much stronger than most of us are today. You don't have to be butch or even look completely like a professional crossfitter to have that kind of power, but it certainly doesn't hurt. But I do love me some Donna since she's come around. To add to this, as fishpan so eloquently put it, cringe worthy topic: Unless this agenda is overpushed, there won't be more of a chance for girls/women to have these kinds of shows/plots/roles. Whether people want to admit to it or not, kids are influenced by this kind of stuff. It doesn't even have to be an extreme influence, a subtle one does the trick. But if a girl sees another girl/or woman on the screen being a badass, sometimes that pushes them to be a little bit more badass. Of course there's a line somewhere that has to be drawn, but that's not the point that I'm getting at. Sometimes this has to go too far in order for it to become more the norm. And, I don't count Buffy as being the most iconic, but I wasn't much of a fan. I'm more of an ALIAS kind of girl myself. Or, even BONES since she reps in the field of STEM. I want to see more women kicking ass and taking names, so bring it on! I didn't like it as much as I wanted to? To me, it felt too forced with Jody and Claire. I might have been more believing in the Claire thing if they would have put her in some more episodes prior to this. I do love Donna in this episode because she was just kind of calm yet fine with teaching the newbies the basics. I wasn't surprised that the one responsible for tying up Sam and Dean was alt universe Kaia. I was wondering how she would fit in with the group in the long run. She's going to be fun to keep an eye on because is she or isn't she still a dream walker? And.....was she the original or was our Kaia the original? I like the fact that he's in this with family, including his bride. Hmm, maybe the next time I visit Round Rock to visit my family, I'll see if my brother and his bride want to check that place out. I'm here, just lurking as usual. I'm heading over to a friends house for the night to join a group and celebrate. Staying overnight so I can have a couple of drinks.
