Fans spot Supernatural plot-hole in Season 13 angel storyline

There have been problems with the writing recently and part of that may be the fact that there are a lot of writers who weren't around for the earlier seasons. Have they even watched the earlier seasons? However, there should be no excuse for the likes of Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb forgetting the vital piece of information that souls are the batteries that run Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory.

One argument for this plot-hole is that it’s not a plot-hole at all. Is this a sign that the angels are actually lying? It wouldn't be the first time, especially when it comes to Naomi against Castiel.

I'm more annoyed by the fact Sam and Dean can beat demons in a fist fight. Demons who are supposed to exhibit superhuman strength and have telekinetic abilities.

I've been thinking, what about the angels that fell during S8 Sacrifice. Didn't some try and get back into Heaven? Couldn't Cas have found away to round the flock up and get them back to Heaven and juice them up, so that Heaven isn't loosing any battery power?
