How do you think she went down?
I enjoyed her portrayal of her character, but I'm not 100% on board with sister Jo after this episode. The one thing that I did like was that her character didn't do a 180. She knows who she is. She did a great job though.

But I can't stop smiling seeing Danneel and Jensen together. It's really weird yet awesome at the same time LOL.
I thought she did great and nice to see her have lines...(referring to the only other gig I saw her in was, Charmed).
I wasn't expecting her to play an Angel (pro Lucifier) but i guess it makes sense. Also i couldn't help but notice how both Jensen and Jared's wives played characters that are devoted to Lucifer.
I liked that parallel too Sammi, that both Ruby and Jo have connections to Lucifer and I didn't know she was in Charmed, so I had seen her previously and not realised it as I saw every episode of Charmed. I think they are now doing a re-make of the series, and the cast don't seem happy about it.
Wisheestar, yes it was lovely seeing both of them together in a scene or two. I also liked her accent which is always a winner for me. She did do a great job, I thought.
Wonder if she'll still be referred to as Jo or Anael? Sounds like saying N, I, L.
Her part in Charmed is so tiny.
Yes, I've heard of the reboot and very disappointed about it. It hasn't even been 20 years and they want to remake it??
As my previous thread thought .... There seems to be a huge number of angels with the letter 'I' in their names or even more so just thinking about it with the 'IE or EI' connection to their names. A friend recently pointed out to me that it is Hebrew in connotation which surprised me there is some sort of link? Its really bugging me lately and I find it interesting to note the I names in my head. God must have loved the letter I to name all his children with? I think her name is spelt Annaiel by the way the boys sounded her name out loud? Anna in her name is close to the angel Anna another SPN connection in names?
I was surprised in the Charmed re-make but am going to give it a go because I loved that show. I still cannot believe its twenty years since it aired.
Ha, I wouldn't be surprised if God liked the letter "I"...or maybe he really likes vowels? A,E,I seem to be popular in Angels names. A lot of them end in "L" too, don't they? I had no idea how to spell her name...I don't think they do yet either. Boy, Anna, it's been awhile. She really did a 180 though didn't she? But, I guess I should say "they" by the writers.
Now we have to wait until March 1st...I know it's only like almost 3 weeks. It looks like a rescue mission for Jack and Mary. I wonder if Ketch, Asmodeus, and Lucifer will appear? Though, that's a lot of big bad's in one episode. I think AU Michael and a Zachariah is credited, and AU Bobby.
I love Charmed. It was the first show I ever got into and looked forward to every week. I feel like a total nerd whenever I re-watch the series. I'm going to give this "new" version a shot, but I'm still not too thrilled about it. I guess it has been 20 years since Charmed began, but I still think that's not enough time. I just feel very protective of Charmed. So far I know it follows 3 sisters: Macy, Mel, and Madison, but Macy I guess, isn't there sister yet, she'll learn she is Mel and Madison's sister, or believes she is... Macy has telekinesis (like Prue), Mel can freeze (like Piper), and Madison can hear thoughts...which is a new one...(sorry Phoebe). I think it will all come down to casting, like if they cast one of the leads as an actress I cant stand, I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it.

What you feel about Charmed, is what I feel about Roswell. I'm still bitter about the Roswell reboot. They should have done a revival instead with the original cast :( It was the cast that made the show magical. And it's a good job opportunity for Jason Behr, who has been MIA for the past few years LOL.
BTw, I'm too was a fan of Charmed. Prue was my all time favorite. And I shipped Phoebe and Cole so hard back in the days hehe. It's funny that Kaley Cuoco became the breakout star after the show.
What is it with all of these reboots? No originally ideas out there anymore?!
Prue was a great character, it's a shame how things were handled, but things like that happen. Like Cole, if Julian McMahon wasn't so keen on leaving, he could've been in the rest of the series. I'm disappointed how it ended for Cole. Ugh, I hated the character Billie, which made me not like Kaley for many years.
I was annoyed over how they handled Cole too he was a real favourite of mine, I loved Cole and Piper together. I wasn't over keen on Prue I preferred Phoebe if I'm honest. Who was the guy who played either Phoebe's boyfriend, I think he was a demon? He was a good actor and baddy.
I though she did a great job in the little bit I got to see.
My CW channel is still down. Good thing we got a small break before the next episode or I might be really playing catch up.
Thought she did a good job. Her character didn’t make me want to tip my tv over ala Claire. Sad that her first ep had to be one penned by the NepDuo. I thought that Danneel and Mark meshed well. Anael is actually making me pay more attention to Lucifer.
All these characters and storylines. So confusing, messy and honestly - overkill. Dabb is scraping the guardrail and the Lamborghini is about to plunge down the ravine. The season was chugging along okay but now?
I think sometimes they take on too much in the way of story telling. The finale isn't that far away now, and as per they always seem to chase ahead and rush it to get to the finale. 9 times out of 10 they never seem to tie up those loose ends. Its so obvious and as years go by, it doesn't get any better.

I saw an article that Anael was thought to be Anna's angel identity...so I'm not sure what to think about that. Since, "they" haven't cleared that up, I can only assume that Anna had another name as an angel..unless the coincidence that she was also an angel named Anna....
Anyways, back to Jo - I wonder what's in store for her character. Will she continue to be so dedicated to Lucifer? Or change her priorities...? I read an interview that she hopes she's not going to be killed by Dean. If so, I could see Sam or Castiel doing that. I just know Pro Lucifer's don't last too long.
