I grew up around countless wealthy racists in Pennsylvania, and he’s right. Doesn’t ruin the movie in any way, but if this were real life, there’s simply no way that they would choose to become what they believe to be genetically inferior. It would be like Hitler choosing to place his brain inside of a Jew’s body. Ain’t gonna happen.
Oh, I didn’t realize that he meant the actual look of the world. I thought he was referring to film stock and lighting and whatnot.
Explain what you mean by “ugly”. I’ve seen this film many times and have never come close to considering its look to be ugly. Quite the opposite, actually.
I haven’t seen Superman 2 (or one) Captain America 2 (or one) or X2 (lol, or one), but otherwise this is a great list. Don’t know if I can get on board with Lethal Weapon 2, though.

My girlfriend and I left the theater after thirty minutes. I haven’t done that since Heath Ledger’s “A Knight’s Tale”, but life is too short for three hours of self-indulgent bullshit.
