I've successfully avoided this for 17 years, and finally gave it a shot .

After 20 minutes of boredom, I zipped through to the 'good' parts, and was done with this swill in record time.

Bad 70's porn was better than this.

I liked first half though but second half is boring crap, it was typical of Kubrick's post Clock work movies, he was given far too much control and made some really long movies.

Yeah ... Paths Of Glory, 2001, Spartacus .... BRILLIANT. Other stuff such as this ... just did not float my boat.

AI had some complicated themes to it, but they were well and deeply hidden, and it was not really done by Kubrick.
