Feminists and therefore liberals hate Freud. Feminists recoil at penis envy! 🤣 He's out fashion, yes. But these things are cyclical. Freud is already enjoying a comeback in some Academic circles. Interesting. I don't think I saw the later seasons. I would love to see him finally get payback for smugness. Nah, he was smug homophobe thug in "Oz". That's worse than a smug cop. I don't hate him hate him. I just hate him. George W Bush graduated from Harvard. Does anybody really think he was a genius? Money gets you into those schools. Your average Joe without rich parents may have a genius IQ but he goes to a public college. I call it a beat rag. Sure, the family obviously helped make this guy into a monster. But then you could also let him off the hook and say it's society's fault. Or the result of living in the 21st century. Or the devil made him do it. If anyone thinks smoking should be banned outside on public streets, then they should suck on a car's tail pipe. Car emission fumes are far more toxic than a burning plant leaf. Well aren't you and your daughter so clever! 🤣 Well I would love for the system to work as promised. It's just that small doubt which is scary. But neither of us will ever use a transporter so I guess it doesn't really matter. 🤣 Yeah, but they're just like us and not sure if it kills them or not. They don't know any more than us. Maybe Captain Kirk wonders every time he transports if this is his last thought. Well at least this one said he's "Christian-Catholic". I hate fools, usually fundie Protestants who ask things like "Are you Christian or Catholic"? And they don't even think of that as an insult. They actually think Catholicism is a separate religion than Christianity. I guess they think they worship the Pope, not Christ. But now you're blaming the wrong person for the crimes of another. Are you saying parents are now responsible for the acts of their children? And the killer was 18 and an adult. Are parents responsible for the crimes of their adult children? Okay, that's a much better way to handle it. The original person is not molecularly disassembled. A projected clone is created to act in a different location. When the clone's purpose is done, it's disassembled.* The original person just watches it all from a remote location. *But then you'd have a whole "right to life" movement evolve around clones. They would be against killing the clone and would claim it's a new person who has a right to exist. 🤣 Well they're not gonna bring it up in the show because they don't want the audience to lose faith in the characters. I mean why should we love Captain Kirk if that's not even him anymore, but just a shell with an implanted memory? Teletransportation of material has some basis in science (I would guess). Q doesn't. My question is though, is a stored memory the same as the individual? And he won't remember dying because that was not him who died. It worked in "Psycho". Okay. But you'll also notice the OP left off a period in the second sentence. Lol. But if you read the entire statement she just wants forgiveness for her son. She's not condoning what he did. It sounds to me like the standard Christian axiom "love the sinner but hate the sin". The media is trying to sensationalize it. I'm more concerned about the chickenshit cops who didn't stop this and save the lives of some of those children. What, no explosions? Did you like the original Edward Albee play?
