It's called accountability. It's about power being open to scrutiny. I just do not see the need for anonymity in moderation.
I'm guessing the mods also post on their regular accounts? I've never posted on another forum where mods were anonymous. They always have a name and are open to dialog.
So far I'm very impressed with this site. Perhaps the complaints I heard on filmboards about frivolous bans were just so much butthurt.
I still would like to know the mods names though. I just don't see the point of stealth in moderation.

I agree with you 100%. The best thing society could have done for that kid is lock him up for manslaughter so he could learn from his mistake.
They've only given Rittenhouse a green light to continue this sort of reckless behavior which will either get him killed, or in prison the next time he shoots people and isn't lucky enough to get a judge and jury who get all teary over his crying act.
