Bumping as really curious to hear women's thoughts on this.
They should have done it as a tight mini series or 2-3 season show. As it kept going it got dumber and dumber. The show really declines when Boone leaves.
I don't see anything different about his acting now than what it was in earlier work like Tuff Turf, Sex Lies Videotape, Boston Legal. He has always acted the same way. I guess now he is older and ummm balder and the decline in his looks probably lets him get away with less for some people.
I guess to be fair Raymond Reddington really isn't that different to the character he played on Boston Legal. In general he has always played the same character throughout his career. I can see elements of his Tuff Turf character in Reddington for example.
A lot of actors have a shtick, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Pacino all act the same way in pretty much everything they do.
No idea but he is not funny at all.
Agreed. Or if Part two is already made just keep the season together.
Awards shows for TV/Movies and Music. How does Beyonce win a Grammy for best country album? How does that happen?
That really annoys me with TV Shows especially. By the time you get to part two of the season you've lost momentum.
Dirty Dick's Crab House "I got my crabs from Dirty Dick's!" https://dirtydickscrabs.com/
Sophie's Choice https://www.sophieschoicerestaurant.co.uk/ Nothing really wrong with the name unless you know about the film..
In Australia we used to have a place called Smorgy's which was a smorgasboard type deal. Never liked the name.
I don't really. At best it can just be some fluff to watch or read. At worst I might shake my head at it. I don't actually care about them at all.
Due to a recent even in November 2024 I think Celebs have learned that most of us really don't care about what they are endorsing and that celeb endorsements can even be counter productive.

I thought he was a shitty superstar too. Never really got it, he was all hype and expensive music videos. I remember when I heard though it was a shock as I think at the time what he was doing with medication wasn't too well known.
Queen Elizabeth she was just always there and then she wasn't.
Robin Williams, probably more so after I heard it was suicide but that manic act always seemed like he was running from himself.
Paul Hester (Crowded House drummer) another suicide and another manic comedic behaviour guy.
Alec John Such (Bon Jovi Bassist) been into the band since I was a teen when I heard I was shocked.
John Lennon, probably the first celeb death that I was old enough to understand.
Trivia, I was in a record store when I heard Kurt Cobain killed himself. I was into Grunge and the record store girl was very upset by it. I wasn't phased too much, Nirvana may have been considered the Kings of the Grunge era but they were never a fave of mine.
I also remember when Steve Irwin died. I was at work and everyone was shocked. I never watched his show and thought he was a bit over rated.

Normally I'm not a fan of modern music with period set drama but it works here. The show plays out like the old Commando comic books.
I knew at the end of S1 when the Captain was captured that S2 would struggle at least until they get him out. Paddy is ok as a side kick type but he ain't a lead character. I have only watched the first episode so far but there were too many party scenes and I am waiting for Stirling to be rescued.
Just looked up Wikipedia on Stirling, oh well...
I always compared it to Obama a fast talking black man who doesn't know it takes water to grow crops.
Yeah it's all good. Just a bit confused why posting in Gen Pop would be a problem for the other poster. The celebs seem to be dropping again lately I was surprised when I read the news about Marianne.
I posted on both. It is the general area I have seen far less relevant things posted here.
I get it, he is telling people who the boss is. A lot of piss ant countries calling the shots because the previous Administration allowed to happen.
