I could care less about the whole woke thing. It's last year's boring fad. people are tired of it and ignoring it.
mostly what I notice, is if a movie SUCKS, it doesn't do well. sometimes, wokeism is a part of it.
GB2016, WW84, I didn't enjoy Cap Marv but it wasn't for me I guess, Charlie's turned dyke Angels, and on and on...
They should focus on writing rather than fads or trends.

i counted 11 super hero movies, out of that list of 32. that's 1/3 and I probably missed some I don't know.
In CGI, I mean specific actions, things we haven't seen before: huge moon flailing about, very large gravity disruptions, things like that. Lots of stuff has been done in CGI, but many of these scenes don't look like the many other cgi action movies I've seen. just caught BLACK WIDOW on a flight - pretty much skipped through every FIGHT scene as they all feel the same. moonfall feels different, to me and others.
Yeah, it's large action CGI and that has been done before, but the film premise feels new, equals interesting to some of us.
I like what it had to say, but, it is not a very entertaining as a movie. I mean, it's probably not interesting to modern audiences, unless they are "deep", like to ponder life, and don't need a really well written story delivered. It feels like some good ideas with vignettes, and a tacked on big action scene - which I find amazing, and does feed the story, yet, still feels stuck in to check boxes
so many of these are sequels, prequels, remakes, additions, reboots, etc etc etc etc etc
I think I counted 6 in that list that were original?
this is where moonfall rises: it is NOT one of those reboots.
As much as I dislike CGI for being abused, TO ME, it works here because it is presenting something NEW, not seen before, and NOT the same old CGI: heroes punching humans through brick walls with zero damage, physics defying gravity leaps, etc. Moonfall knows it is filled with CGI doing somewhat new stuff, not the same old overdone thing.
i don't know what you are saying, but I don't waste time getting "triggered", I simply ignore "woke", like most people. and I try to not support it when I can find out ahead of time about it. that's not being "triggered". that's trying to support movies with GOOD WRITING, not good protesting.
BATMAN? Again, I don't know what you mean, since I leave conversations and don't bother revisiting - like normal conversation should be. This new Batman, what, the 7th or 10th actor now? looks better in the latest trailers, but I won't go to theater for it. It will be on streaming soon enough so I can fast forward through the "...when I was a child..." and "here are my FEELINGS that are supposed to be important" that boat anchor modern movies to a stand still.
thanks to the massive success of viewers tuning in to watch idiot strangers cry on reality TV shows... now, movies have to be boring soap operas also.

Films these days just don't care. Every film is a small business with lots of people to pay that do stuff. It's a business design to claim failure after a year, and close down. That's it. They don't give a shit about whatever the film is about.

some groups grew up used to retreads, others dont put up with it
just saw it. SO MUCH was a redo from the first movie. i wont even go into details. was a retread. so tired of this kind of thing. MAJOR MAJOR plot actions were the exact same as the first matrix movie.
