The original idea was that the Death Star was going to be around for all the films, and get blown up in the last one.
But Lucas didn't know if he'd even get to make more than one, so he blew the idea in one.
Han had the money to pay Jabba off since his reward for rescuing Leia and helping with the Death Star.
But he kept getting side-tracked by Rebellion matters.
By the time he was hanging near the Tauntaun head, Jabba didn't care about the money anymore.
Yeah I got the impression they'd met in various "official" contexts before.
Apparently Lee thought the dialogue was so awful he refused to say it xD but the director of the film (naturally) denies this.
I've not seen that particular film, are there "gaps" which seem like Draccie should be speaking?
