Did anyone even say it was Melania?
Though there was an opportunity for world-building, his old man version could have hinted that they get some kind of "commission" for hooking up new people to the Substance.
So both of Monica's possible haircuts are associated with this film!
Interesting observations.
I thought the studio did remind me quite a bit of the Overlook. But I didn't think of it beyond that, apart from wondering if it was homage.
As far as I know neither director was known for being a "letch", so despite their perfectionism at the cost of the cast, I don't think they deserve to be targeted.
Depends if the Substance Copies are meant to be literally the person when they were younger ... or if they're perfect in every way, including being younger.
I thought there was going to be a twist where the "other selves" were aliens or something.
Oh my gosh, it's actually so obvious - I somehow missed the VERY OBVIOUS intercuts both times I saw the movie, showing the old man and the nurse flashing up with each other.
Thanks everyone!
Okay I watched it again and
A) it was Heather Duke
B) it was a dream.
Bye.
Who says they don't?
I'd dunk it in him.

Oh yeah, that's totally a white man thing.
The DVD (and possibly streaming?) copies of the show use the syndicated edit, which was trimmed for time. DH's scene was trimmed, so the references to her being there had to go as well.
It doesn't mean Idle wasn't there because of the spat, it just means the spat happened before the birthday party, and that Eric Idle wasn't there.
(Probably due to being on a different continent)
(I read some of the other posts, it seems the TV version I saw trimmed a scene where Max is angry when he drops B off)
You say that, but they could have had Danny "pointing" in any direction they wanted, so they could have had him facing the correct way so that the ball doesn't come from the exit, AND so that it looks nice against the pattern.
They probably hope this movie will bomb.
I thought most viewers were women and gay guys tbh
Oh yeah, Lisa's Mom was rallying for at least one topless scene.
Did you notice how the Falcon was constantly being or needing to be repaired throughout the film? That makes me wonder if maybe it wasn't in tip-top condition.
Dude!
