Get Out, Save the Last Dance, The Mountain Between Us, To Sir with Love, Looks whose coming to dinner.
I went to public school and teachers were typically present during the whole time. I remember once when a teacher left, one of the students went up to his desk and gave the rest of our class the answers. I think this was definitely a combination of the time period and the fact it was a prep school.
The OP said it was a "white" privilege thing. However, David was white and it didn't stop the others from bullying him for being both poor and Jewish.
I found Silence of the Lambs to be more suspenseful and Hannibal to be a lot of gore.
Agreed. I would rank them in the order of SOTL, Red Dragon & then Hannibal.
I like the cat & mouse dialog between Starling & Hannibal but the movie was just too gory for me.
While I think Silence of the Lambs is a superior movie to Hannibal, I think Julianne Moore did a terrific job stepping in the role. I also agree with the other posters, I think she is believable as a an agent.
Not the best quality but it is on YouTube:

I am with you; in the "real world" they would have took off their colors to save their butts. BUT that would have made a very short, boring movie. :)
While I personally don't like the dress, this beautiful woman can wear a hefty bag and look amazing.
I don't agree with what he did, but I still like him as an actor. I have more of a problem watching movies with stars that passed away too young. It is so sad to see their lives cut so short.
He was terrific but I loved the entire ensemble. They were all wonderful.
English is a very difficult language. I am sure it must be a challenge to keep up when movies go fast with the storylines. Sorry the poster had to make a rude comment. :)
I still like the original Yours, Mine and Ours with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda as #1 pick. As a second choice I pick Cheaper by the Dozen.
We'll maybe 10 years later you have now got over your fear of spiders. Maybe you even became an Arachnologist and have grown to love them? hmmmmmm ... I don't think so. :)
When I was in my 20's I had dyed a friend's hair four times in one night after a bad hi-light job. No hair loss and it did not break off.
He had an obsession with his step-mom. He loved having her all to himself and felt threatened when the young boy was getting her attention. Plus he killed Doug, the neighbor that wanted to date her.
The young boy had lived and her step-son had died.
The OP is not referring to her step-son. The character Tom had a hearing problem. In the beginning the case worker mentioned he was going to be sent to the Home for the Deaf.
I don't believe he was 100% deaf, just hard of hearing. I know the case worker would talk louder to him. Plus he probably learned to read lips too. I don't recall any sign language during the movie.
