Yeah, true, but still beautiful though even without the makeup she looked like the girl next door type.
Just watched it and was wondering myself. I guess it’s a body double. They didn’t show her face only her backside so it could be anybody.
Yeah, saw it when I was like 12 years old and it was scary to me back then as well. Didn’t notice much goofiness or dodgy sp.effects. It was pretty atmospheric.
I wonder what they argued about. What creative differences they had.
Trevor too. I think he is more psychotic, so twice the fun.
Thanks, I’ll check it out. Gingerdead Man vs Evil Bong. Lol. Sounds cool.
Relax Kowalski, I honestly think that this one could be the best one. I think I watched only two before this one and they were all bad, so I didn’t have much expectations with this one. Short running time definitely helps here. And I thought they picked up in the acting department well. The Rabbit blew it out of the park. You gotta check it out. I watched it on Tubi. Have fun!
Now watching this 17 years later since this thread started for free on Tubi in good HD quality. Sometimes waiting pays off. So far so good. I like Clive Barker movies. Never seen this one before.
All I was wondering whether those flies were real or cgi.
Ok, thanks again for the quick reply. I’ll try to watch the whole show someday.
Thank you MartyDeniro. I checked it out. But I guess I was mistaken or unless he had another similar scene. I thought he hired some old woman and he was hiring a you g guy. And from what I remembered he he said “You’ve got a job!”
Oh, snap, it’s not there anymore.
I interpreted those “hallucinations” as you call them, either a quick flashback or just his thoughts running through his head. I couldn’t actually get it whether it’s the event already happened or will happen until later. Kinda a take away. But, yeah, this movie is interesting. I liked it for what it was, having a twist at the end made it special for me 😄
That sounds great! I wish I was there I think I would’ve liked it when I was 15 at the time, but at least I saw Showgirls at the movie theater when it came out. That was fun!
I liked it. I think it was better than Black Book or Elle. It reminded me a bit of his earlier work Flesh+ Blood. I loved that he came back into medieval drama which is his strong suit and not holding back on sex and violence. It’s like our old Paul is back. I noticed one of Paul’s trademarks. There was a bit of s&m when one of the nun was blindfolded. He did that before in Starship Troopers.
If you liked this movie, you might like another good old nun film -Love Letters Of A Portuguese Nun.
I didn’t hear about it either. Pleasantly surprised. Just saw it and quite liked it. Didn’t have any boring parts. Good briskly pace with lots of sex and violence. What’s not to like. It’s like Paul has made a great comeback.
Interesting. Thanks for the input guys!
I was wondering that too. I think it must be the new era of Hollywood we live in. After the metoo movement women have more power in Hollywood than ever before and can be accepted for what they are. It’s too bad because her face is so beautiful. I actually considered her my top sexy actress back when she was in Red Eye. Hopefully she had fixed that since Fire Saga.
Yeah, totally forgot he was in Beverly Hills Cop again playing a baddie. He was kinda typecast playing villains in the 80s, but hey, he was good at it. Yeah, someone mentioned Star Trek, I remember him there too.
I think one of the biggest faults with this movie was having the wrong cast. It hurt the movie badly.
