It seems like this movie had a wide release in the US. I only seen this movie on DVD long time ago and now after rewatching it again on amazon prime is amazed at how good it is. It must have been a great experience seeing at the movie theater. I can only imagine.

It was showing at the local "art house" for what it's worth, so wide release but maybe not the biggest screens. This was before everything became multiplexes
That sounds great! I wish I was there I think I would’ve liked it when I was 15 at the time, but at least I saw Showgirls at the movie theater when it came out. That was fun!
shareSaw it twice. Each time with a different girl. Both times ended up sleeping with them that night. This and Henry & June are the best movies to watch in terms of getting women in the mood.
