I remember one Saturday or Sunday afternoon hanging out in the camper watching this on a little 12" color tv on a local antenna station, havent seen it since then thought it was pretty scary back then dont know if i'll like it as much watching it now

Yeah, saw it when I was like 12 years old and it was scary to me back then as well. Didn’t notice much goofiness or dodgy sp.effects. It was pretty atmospheric.
