I know I will watch it someday again. It’s a stoner’s movie. Watch it while high and you’ll think you’ve watched a masterpiece.
I see, thanks for the info. Just like I was suspecting of its budget, but surprised it made any money. I only paid $2 to see this turkey at my local discount theater and I still feel ripped off.

A bit late, but still. Good catch! I just watched him in Hitman 47 and he was great in it. I agree he would totally fit into Terminator role. He looks very menacing, lol.
Yeah, that was cool. I’m watching it here right now on Tubi, great addition to Tubi. I like Lt. Munafo in this movie(Spinell) he makes me laugh in the scene when Wolfgar took over the tram, and Wolfgar says, “I want that bastard!” And Munafo asks “what bastard?” In his passionate voice xD it’s lol.

I need to check it out. I saw Victor Crowley episode and it was great. They had Kane Hudder, director of the movie - Adam Green who I found to be very well-grounded and humble person. Then the mangled dick expert - Felissa Rose. And two more from the cast. A fun episode. I liked it! Darcy was hot.

Yeah, it’s bad but it’s still fun movie. I guess that’s what the definition of guilty pleasure is. I rewatched it 20 years later, and now even though it’s still silly fun movie, but it’s much sadder this time around knowing that Norm and Bob Saget is gone. Rickles is gone (no surprise there, but he lived a long life) Farley has been gone long time now too.
This is an old post but an interesting one. I was just thinking of the remake of this film myself amusing myself with the thoughts. Ryan Gosling? I don’t know. I didn’t see it as him at first. But now thinking about it. He’s got the physicality to pull off the role and the silent mystique…yeah, he could probably. I see it now.
On a side note maybe it’s just best to leave the classic alone, and we might be even lucky that this hasn’t happened yet. To see the classic butchered. If this would’ve been remade, there’s also a danger of having a failure, ending up with the cast of Rock or Ryan Reynolds-like.
No. He won’t. The movie is already in post-production. The main cast (at least)has already been listed up on the imdb.com and Dudikoff is not on there. Not too surprising I guess. Have Sly even try to consider him at all I wonder. What about Steven Seagal. I would’ve written in Steven to be some sort of henchman or even lackey to the boss (main baddie) in the film🤔 😲.

Yeah, I recognized some elements from Rambo too. This score is also very heroic.
I watched it today. And while I found the story itself incredible, the journey, the people Stavros met along the way - all memorable. However, one thing that irked me a lot when Stavros was keeping silent. He would just not talk when needed and stay silent instead. I wanted him to talk a bit more. Anything, not like a chatterbox, but there were too many scenes where he would just stare in the screen for a whole minute and you expect him to say something.
I’m with you. I think this movie would only benefit having color due to the brilliant photography. Gorgeous landscapes and fine rich decor in the houses.
I feel the same way. First two episodes were definitely great. Started off strong. Then it started going into many directions and giving more questions than answers most likely setting it up for season 2. Too bad Scott was not directing the whole season. I still will be checking out season 2. At least one episode to satisfy my curiosity. And I have to disagree with the OP. The show no way feels cheap and nowhere close to Syfy channel quality. The only moment when cgi felt cheap to me was at one shot of the serpent at the very end of the season when it was slithering inside the ship.

It went to my local discount “dollar” theater here in the US. I went to see it today and could barely sit through it. What a heap of steaming garbage! They screwed up so bad on so many things it’s embarassing.
That’s actually a pretty neat idea. Someone needs to get on this. I played Dino Crisis 1 and 2 but never passed any of those games. They were hard.
