Danny Devito. He did a good job of narrating Matilda. Good enough for me. It depends what you mean. Do you mean the best as per the standards of other actors, as per how many Oscars they own, or what? Otherwise, yeah, of course it's opinion. And in my opinion, the best is when it doesn't seem like they're acting. I don't mean when a person is playing a role so close to themselves that it isn't acting. I mean when someone can play any type of character and you believe they are that character - when they can convince you so seamlessly, so flawlessly, that you cry, laugh and scream along with them. To me, I guess I'll define it in as simple a way as I can - by using examples! PC = not using the N word when you're not African-American, or just, you know, not at all. Too PC = People telling others that they can't wear their hair in braids because it's cultural appropriation - even though they themselves have unnatural dyed hair and wear fashion from around the globe. Some things are just common sense and then some things are just stupid and not worth arguing about. But everyone has their own opinion on where that line is, so we all get into fights defending our line. I know. I know. It actually makes me sad at how bad the show got. Damn the writers' strike and whatever else made it go South. I actually don't think the age matters, but whether the actor fits the role. And Tim Curry just did, like a glove, unlike the latter IT actor. Cut scene, loud scream... Cut scene, loud scream... This could easily be a rap. I just needed to point that out. You can't unsee it now, can you? DISLIKED - leans more on the dislike side than the so-so side. Even without comparison of the 90s version coming into play, there's just too much to dislike about the film on its own. YES - I had read the book already, but like a zillion years ago. And I’m pretty sure it was a ‘clean’/edited version because the kids having sex just wasn’t in it, period. I can’t confirm, though – that book died in a fire long ago. YES - I had seen the 1990 TV miniseries. Re-watched it recently and it held up well. Fly. Time travel = responsibility. Flying is basically the opposite of that. Same. Lol I like em. Keanu Reeves. Lol I think in all seriousness there's no one I could pick in good conscience. It's too big a task for anyone, so if I well and truly had to pick, I would probably just choose someone randomly that seems half decent. And God knows how bad that could turn out. So why not Keanu? Mostly yes - but it depends. If there's a high price, like your soul or something, then no. And as long as you retain your youth - or stay the same age physically as well as mentally - for the entirety of your mortality, then absolutely yes. The Stand gets a lot of flak but I actually really liked it, too. Aw Sopranos. Damn I loved that show, too. I didn't love waiting though. And I don't love waiting now. I would say it was fine - if any of the characters he played were half-decent people. Or, you know, if there was a balance of beautiful women and beautiful men in the films he's in. But there never is. Adam Sandler refuses to stand next to another male lead who's equally attractive to the women and who is potentially competition for him. But he will be the only average looking lead man and date young and attractive bikini ready women (though he of course won't show any skin or even wear clothes that fit him). It's not bad. I'd say give it a look and I think you'll know right away if it's for you. It was okay. Okay enough for me to want to keep watching. Yeah I noticed - such a funny little add in. I loved Resurrection - he was incredible in that. I feel like that was the first time he really got to show his range and versatility in that, beyond anything he's done thus far, which is a real gift. He's a seasoned actor, and a lot of such actors never get to show what he did in that show.
