OP I actually agree with you. It's just so far fetched. These are some of the sexiest women on the globe and he can't even tuck his shirt into his pants because it would accentuate his fat belly. He's not ugly, just...average. Not Aniston/Decker/Hayek league

shareI would say it was fine - if any of the characters he played were half-decent people. Or, you know, if there was a balance of beautiful women and beautiful men in the films he's in. But there never is. Adam Sandler refuses to stand next to another male lead who's equally attractive to the women and who is potentially competition for him. But he will be the only average looking lead man and date young and attractive bikini ready women (though he of course won't show any skin or even wear clothes that fit him).
