Indeed.
Yet again, in Wild Boys of the Road. The dumb shit claims in his intro the lure of the quick buck available to bold criminals proves hard to resist for the boys. Clearly this moron doesn't watch these movies. They not only didn't commit crimes for quick bucks, they never even considered it. Why doesn't he just quit and stop living off a name he personally did nothing with? He has the simplest job in the world and he's too stupid to do it correctly.
The fact that the film failed at the box office is a fact
Umm...no....it isn't, and it didn't. I realize I'm writing to someone who won't see this, but it always amazes me how people spew their ignorance as fact. These people who believe their opinions are fact, simply because they believe it to be so, are quite special.
If I've ever seen an example of someone missing the entire point, this is it. Reading requires comprehension.
He feels he's Hollywood royalty. Since previous Mankiewicz's found success generations ago, he feels that success somehow elevates him. So wrong, yet again. Even his equally annoying brother is more successful than Ben.
Sounds to me like they're trying to milk a dead (or dying) cow. Maybe I'm in the minority.
SJW? How so? The idiocy is definitely front and center, but SJW? I'm not seeing it.
"Taken down a notch" would be a good description. I in no way advocate the destruction of human kind, but I also don't always see us as the heroes. We seem to want to control the population of all species, but our own. Worse, as we get smarter, we're able to overcome nature's controls, and sooner or later, as Agent Smith so eloquently put it, we will be the cancer of the planet. If we're not already. I didn't mean to get this deep. I'm not an activist oddball about it. It's simply a fleeting opinion.
Are they really necessary in destroying the human race considering all the deadly destructive conflicts we put ourselves through (The World Wars, Black Plague, nuclear annihilation, and so on)?
Considering the fact the human population is thriving and multiplying exponentially, despite the examples you've mentioned, the answer would be a resounding yes.
"Snowflake" has now overtaken "troll" for the word people use most, but don't comprehend.
If you don't understand the meaning of words, or how they should be applied, don't use them. I didn't know "grievance" was a word that confused people.
Yes. I started the topic. Thank you for clearing that up for me. Did you not read my previous reply to you? Have you really never called someone crazy without meaning they're literally crazy to the point of committal? When the word "psycho" is used, it rarely means the literal definition of medically psychotic. And again, if you read the entire initial post, and not just the title, the topic is which is more unlikable. The opinionated labels are secondary at best.
As for her confronting Fisk, I'd choose moronic over crazy (though both fit), and would definitely never call it brave. Did you mean she was literally crazy and it was grounds to commit her without her consent, and to hold her until doctor says she's sane?
It took a noisedive with episode 10. What a complete waste that was.
That was one example, and no one labeled her psychotic. Being referred to as psycho is not a medical diagnosis. If you prefer, crazy, unstable, abnormal, etc., just pick one. Fill in your own adjective. It really has nothing to do with the actual question.
The question was who was more unlikable. I'm not certain why you're obsessing on a descriptive term. She wasn't accused of being the medical definition of psychotic. When the term "psycho" is used in everyday conversation, it's synonomous with "crazy" or "unstable" in the same context. If it'll help you focus on the actual topic, replace the word "psycho" with "abnormal".
Many of us have experienced horrible and traumatic events, but we can still behave as if we live in a society and not take it out on strangers.
Yes, he was. And he didn't die sooner than later. You can't get much later than the last episode of a series.
You're right, but it's really getting worse. Just look at when the blacksmith's son was killed. There were only a handful of walkers, but everyone had to run away. Yet when he was attacked, all of a sudden they were able to take them all out in 30 seconds. It's just become a joke.
Exactly my initial point.
It doesn't change the fact it was psycho behavior. Normal people, who are a little on edge, don't threaten people with a loaded gun, let alone go out of their way to find someone to point a gun at.
Anyone who crosses the street to initiate a conflict with cat callers, by pointing a loaded gun at them, is a borderline psycho.
While they were juvenile and annoying, they broke no laws.
