The season is amazing, it never went limp.

Best season of the series. It never went limp.

What makes you think it went limp.

I thought the action was tight throughout. I would have liked more fugitive-Matt toward the end but otherwise, I thought the story flowed well.

There’s much more to a good story than action. Without the structure of a compelling narrative, endless action is a John Wick movie, which is as boring as a political debate. I was impressed that they put a REAL emphasis on narrative and character development at the end: Julie’s death, Vanessa’s return to Fisk’s life, the respect and compassion that Fisk showed the elegant survivor of The Holicaust who owned the painting he wanted for Vanessa. I was VERY impressed that they did not show us Poindexter murdering that beautiful lady, but that would have added to the action. Quietly letting us see drops of blood on the painting’s frame was MUCH more horrible as we took a moment to recognize what they were—and how they got there. I could see that Fisk was internally seething over Poindexter’s repulsive gift. No, the season didn’t get “limp” (Paging Dr. Freud! Paging Herr Dr. Sigmund Freud!) the last 5 eps. It got more artistic, creative, throbbing, thick and hard as an anvil. It was an exceptional climax!

Kudos! Very well put!

"Throbbing, thick", lol 😄

Hell no. Things only got more exciting, no less character-driven, and the build up to the final confrontation was handled really well. This season never lost steam.

You of course share a different view. That’s fine. But I, on the other hand, understand why this season is already being hailed as the best one (or as great as season 1) by critics and audiences alike. It was flawlessly executed.

Also, from a technical standpoint the jail fight was undoubtedly more impressive than the iconic hallway fight from season 1. I love them equally, but since Charlie Cox clearly did the majority of the stunts in that scene, I say this was a more breathtaking sequence (add the fact that it’s truly a one-shot take without any tricks involved).

But we literally have no idea what you are talking about. For us that never happened.

You mean, based on the response in this thread you haven't realized that there is more than one person who thinks that way??

Hostile much?

Not surprising, I guess.

I am a woman, and also, your attitude says a lot more about you than it does about me.

Oh, I am no longer interested in anything you may ever say.

You are downright uncivilized.

Buh-bye.

She represents me, at least, so that makes 2. And I don’t see anyone who has posted so
far who’s had your reaction.

It took a noisedive with episode 10. What a complete waste that was.
