More Incorrect Spewing...

At the intro of Tales of Manhattan, on 11/04/2018, this idiot promised this showing had the W.C. Fields segment. Like a fool, I sat through it, hoping he was right for once. He wasn't. TCM did not show the restored version despite the idiot's assurance. I'm the bigger fool for believing it.

Yet again, in Wild Boys of the Road. The dumb shit claims in his intro the lure of the quick buck available to bold criminals proves hard to resist for the boys. Clearly this moron doesn't watch these movies. They not only didn't commit crimes for quick bucks, they never even considered it. Why doesn't he just quit and stop living off a name he personally did nothing with? He has the simplest job in the world and he's too stupid to do it correctly.

In Mankiewicz's defense (although I realize it's a weak argument), he's most likely just reading cue cards, so it's really somebody else's mistakes. However, as the lead host of the world's premier vintage film network, it's his responsibility to verify that whatever he presents to the audience is accurate. Robert Osborne had the same job, and he rarely made mistakes.
