I'll never watch Christmas Vacation the same again....
Too true.
Yes...30 years ago. The numbers are too close together on my phone's tiny keyboard.
It's really hard to make every character on a show unlikable, but it seems to be the only accomplishment of these writers.
I believe you're thinking of "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" (1973).
The blogger isn't right. Maybe you and he can can see the shrink together. You're both clearly fighting the homosexual orientation you were born with. Just accept it. You'll be happier.
There's no hidden message and no homosexual undertones. If the blog was supposed to be funny, it failed. Either way there is something mentally wrong with the author. It's a clear mental illness to see homosexuality everywhere you look.
All I'm asking is when it changed. I'm not debating whether or not it's precedented. I don't remember him ever having anywhere near this level of strength. At least not in the 80s. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly.
That really is odd looking. I guess they figured making his legs kick that fast would look even more comical.
The ship was on top of the water and he lifted it out of the water. Besides, objects don't weigh less in water. Buoyancy only makes it appear that way, to some extent.
And my point was, he never had that level of superhuman strength as far as I can remember.
I think you may have something there. If someone's "mind" is always going to the darkest and creepiest places, it says more about them, than anything else.
"From a modern perspective".
That says it all. For 40 years that line existed in the movie, and no one had a problem with it. However, today's society doesn't know how to handle comments purposely said in jest, for shock value. Everything is offensive. The problem isn't the line, it's your "modern perspective". Worse, is your perspective that a dumb remark is just as bad as gruesome murders. Yeah, that's not irrational at all.
I was thinking the same thing. He (or she) misheard fourteen as opposed to forty. Just a guess.
He was 21 in the original. How can this one take place 14 years after the original when Jamie Lee Curtis is reprising her role as Laurie Strode? She cannot pass as a 30 year old.
I'll watch it regardless. The original Halloween is my absolute favorite horror movie. It's the only movie that scared me as a kid.
Huh?
Clearly you're unfamiliar with The Tortoise and the Hare.

He/she/it sent the following private message within minutes of my post. Poor little loser.

"Hi He-man. My dad used to always warn me about anal, be gentle with me."
The movie was bad, but that article was just sad, pathetic, and juvenile.
Dude, thanks for your deep, and intelligent contribution. You don't seem irrelevant or pointless at all.
Just my opinion, but he's one of the rare actors where he had so many good movies it's impossible to pick a favorite.
House on Haunted Hill
House of Wax
The Tingler
The Bat
The Comedy of Terrors
These immediate jump to mind, but I personally find it impossible to pick one over all the rest.
Coincidentally enough, I never saw Tales of Terror, and I just bought it last week. I need to watch it this weekend.
