The most common theory I have seen, and the one to which I ascribe, is that Crouch Jr. had replaced Moody before he ever arrived at Hogwarts.

This is how the Bene Gesserit have always been from the original novel. The Dune universe has several of these societies: the Bene Gesserit, the Mentats, the Tleilaxians (I probably misspelled the last one; I didn't go check). There is an argument to be made if this, or other "origin" series/movies are needed, but blame Frank Herbert in 1965.

The novel Dune begins in the year 10,191. That is not AD or CE. That is from the Butlerian Jihad. Now, it is never explicitly said how long a year is in the Imperium (at least I don't recall seeing that), nor, as far as I know, was it ever mentioned when the Butlerian Jihad began relative to our current calendar. However there is no reason to expect that the Imperial year differs any more than 10% one way or other.

Actually, I disagree. In most comic book physics, super strength does not imply invulnerability, though it does imply toughness. I haven't read comics regularly in two decades. (the monetary outlay was getting too large). However, from what I remember, Wonder Woman can be injured, whereas Superman and Supergirl cannot (at least not by most mundane weapons.) So, she does need the bracelets to avoid being injured by bullets.

A bit late, but Barty Crouch states it is a magical contract. He does not have a choice. It is not spelled out what would happen if he tried to withdraw, but I think it is likely nothing good.

Likely because Home Alone 2 is set in the US where the phrase "Merry Christmas" is most common and Harry Potter is set in Britain where the phrase "Happy Christmas" is most common. I would say Mr. Columbus was cognizant of these facts and used the correct phrase in each film.

You apparently missed the lines in the very first episode that Angela designed what is now called the Angelatron system. (patent pending). So, while she is an artist, she is also a geek and has been since the beginning. Just because her area of expertise is different from Brennan's/Hodges/Addy/Saroyan doesn't mean should could barely understand scientific principles. I have an engineering degree. You wouldn't want me cutting up a body or doing chemistry. But designing an instrument to help with those things is a different story.

The first use of the phrase that I know about was written in 1628 when many texts were rendered in Latin. I have always known it as a latin phrase often translated into English as "there is no accounting for taste." A more correct translation is "In matters of taste there can be no dispute." which has some different connotations.
I prefer the Latin.

I suggest you monitor your language. Domesticated means to tame and control. Humans domesticated dogs, cats, horses. None of them have any say in their lives or society. To say humans domesticated these species is to say, and only say, that humans control them and teach them their, lower, place in society, if they have any at all.
With the gigantic number of stars available, if life tends to rise, which I believe it does, then there will be many at a similar stage of geological development as earth. Such planets could easily develop compatible species. And you are assuming that a species would have to exist in earth-like conditions to be willing to deal with us.
And I hate that word "triggered." It implies a simplistic mind that is easily upset.
The concept that many non-human species would not have any point of intersection with us is valid, but not the only possibility.
Space Opera is a sub-genre of SF. Others are hard SF, soft SF, cyberpunk, alternate history, robot SF, steampunk, and many others.
Your tastes seem to revolve around a narrow version of SF. That's fine, but you should be a ware that the genre is much larger. Its fine to not embrace all versions of SF. I'm not a fan of cyberpunk, for instant, or dystopic futures. But I don't dismiss them as "not SF."

Domesticated? You think these non-human species are monkeys or dogs? Savages that needed humans to teach them? If you've actually read any SF then non-humans have been all over the place. We don't know a lot about the species on the Orville yet, but looking at Star Trek, from which Orville derives a lot of inspiration, the Vulcans, Andorians, Tellerites, Klingons, and Romulans, just to name a few, have been in space with sophisticated cultures long before humans did. Personally, I thinks its silly to think we are teaching any of them anything. Cooperating with them is better. (Assuming they are cooperative as well. Klingons and Romulans were not so cooperative.)

Hollow Earths are fairly common in SF and Adventure Fiction. From 1741s "Niels Kim's Underground Adventures" to Casaanova's "Icosameron to Burrough's Pellucisdar, to DC comics Skartaris, to Marvel's "The Savage Land" (that one's a bit murkier) to the video game Terranigma. One feature is a small sun in the center. This usually implies that there is no night, simply an endless day.
