I would guess the the "science" of the device wasn't that the wheels were turning, but that the machine (in the delorean) was actually moving at 88 mph. So, if they could have put it on a rocket sled and shot it down a track at 88 that would work even if the wheels were completely stationary. (granted, you'd might get a crash when it came out of the time stream)

It is a bit confusing, though the logic holds. Samantha does have a fairly large circle of relatives of the older generation: There was Uncle Arthur, Aunt Clara, Aunt Bertha, Aunt Grimalda, and Aunt Agnes. Other than Serena, several other cousins are mentioned: Henry, Edgar, Mario and Panda.
Now how those relative shake out is uncertain. We know Arthur is Endora's brother. Clara may well be a great aunt, since even the other witches acknowledge she is old. So the other three could be Endora's sisters or Maurice's. (likely some combination thereof.)
Now witch culture could consider aunts and others as any older relative connected somewhere, so other than Arthur the other aunts could be parents of second or third cousins of Samantha.
It is an interesting puzzle, because there simply can't be that many of them around. I can't imagine more than ten or twenty thousand at most.

I'm sure he did. But we might consider that witches might not get sick that often. (Samantha not withstanding). It is likely there are other witch doctors around and the total witch population can't be large. (any extremely long-lived or near immortal species is unlikely to have a high fertility rate.). And doctor's certainly can take time off.

To treat this as a serious comment:
Yes, stars rovolves around the center of a galaxy (or at least a spiral type like the Milky Way). That does not mean that Alderaan's system would come anywhere close (in interstellar terms) of Yavin's system.
Assuming that the Star Wars galaxy is similar in size to the Milky Way and that both Alderaan and Yavin rotate around its center at a similar distance as Earth's sun, it would take between 225 and 250 million years to revolve once around the center.
Even if they did, the Death Star would have to move from one star system to another; which means it would have to move.
Millsey, I confess I do not understand these obviously deliberate posts of inane theories and observations. I'm sure some find them amusing. I rate them much less amusing than a bad Dad joke.

You have it exactly right and this has been explained so many times. Ignoring Avortac, who seems to have a one-track and very limited mind, the scene can be confusing.The method in the movie is classic Superman from the comics; flying faster than light in a clockwise direction takes one to the future and flying counter-clockwise takes one into the past. There isn't any particular reason for that, but it was done consistently through the Silver Age to depict Superman's time travel technique. (and it was not used for anyone else who could do it in the DC universe.)

"Bus" is a common jargon phrase for ambulance.
Most police forces prefer the use of "shield."
English, like all languages, isn't set in stone. Slang and jargon is common and a natural part of any language.

It has been a very long time since I've seen Return to Oz. It is an amalgamation of "The Marvelous Land of Oz" and "Ozma of Oz."
In the original "Marvelous Land of Oz", after the adventures of the novel, the Gump, by his own choice, is disassembled. His head is returned to its place in the palace of Emerald City. He still, however, retains life and was known to speak to visitors on occasion.
