I know..... I need a thesaurus! I'm just trying to be positive!
Enjoy every sandwich.
Wow! 50 concerts? That's incredible. I love music but I never listen anymore. I've been to one concert this year. Pathetic. When I'm there I'm always thinking "Why don't I do this more often?" I'm totally with you on dropping the encore. Completely unnecessary.
Old Time Rock and Roll, Bob Seger- Risky Business
Daisy! I love that song. The beginning is of it is so perfect.
Yes, what a list. This makes me want to drop everything and watch these right now. I adore Jim Jarmusch. His movies are special.
You know, he was so great at the delivery. The way he carried himself. It was absolutely charming and funny. There was nothing mean in his act. When I read those lines you wrote, I could instantly hear him saying them. He was unique.
I tried those but they were so sweaty.
I don't think I've seen it. Looks good.
Yes! Skorts! They came back last year. So comfy because you don't have to worry about bending over or keeping your legs tightly crossed.
I'm just wondering how he got away with it?!? I mean, work, school, girlfriend, friends? Like, how did he get through all these years without someone making him cut it? But, I have to say, honestly, I admire that. He seemed super shyish and I'm not making fun of him but how??? I remember at college one of the secretaries had one of Marie Antoinette type of hairdos from the sixties. Same question.
Wow, thanks for making this topic Margo! I love reading these answers. I really miss the eighties big hair from my high school days. My hair is super thick so I could effortlessly make it gigantic without too much fuss. I miss the big bangs and I'm so happy that I've been seeing them lately. They're back! Now if only those thick hair styles would come back.......there's always hope. Oh, and I always had a big can of Aquanet in my purse.
Hmm. That sounds sort of familiar. Sure, count me in if you give it the go ahead.
A few weeks ago, I was at a party where a man had an honest to goodness, 1984-85 super long mullet! It was absolutely fascinating. It was stunning. He also had a Metallica concert T-shirt. I totally admired his commitment to the style. Imagine going 30+ years maintaining that look. I wanted to talk with him so badly. I could tell there was zero irony. Mystery!
To me, any reality show has got to be the bottom of the barrel. They're so awful. I'm not sure why anyone would ever choose to watch that junk.
I saw it and I started watching it tonight. So far, I love it. I can't believe I've never heard of it!!! What a great cast. There are so many great actors in that. I'll try to finish it tonight or tomorrow. I love when there's a hidden gem. They're so rare.
Along the lines of John Houseman, I would also go with Orson Wells. He had such a beautiful speaking voice.
I loooooved Mitch Hedberg. He was so funny and absurd. I'll never forget the first time I saw him on Letterman. He was a huge loss.
You're absolutely right. We talked and got to laugh and cry together. It felt good. Thank you for your kind words.
I guess there's something wrong with my PM because several people have told me the same thing. I wrote Jim about it but I think he has bigger fish to fry. Thanks for your advice. I did speak to her dad that day. It was good. We got to share some stories and shed a few tears together. I haven't talked to her mom since the funeral. That's a tougher situation. Understandably, her mom is sadder, quieter. We'll see each other soon I hope and chat. I hope your friend is doing well and everything is okay.
