Justwrite3, I think you're spot on in your assessment of the situation! Now that I am reading this thread three months later, I see that it every bit as contentious today as it was on November 9th!
Hey lou1963! I was a big reader of the message boards too. I hardly ever commented but I want these boards at movie chat to get up and going so I'll start posting. I love this show and I find it pretty complicated also. Sometimes I need to turn the subtitles on so I can understand their accents. I'm not caught up yet though. I've got some binge watching to do!
Same here mastermoron. I had no idea there was a second season coming. I thought the first season was quite good. I've watched about six episodes of the second season and I'm pretty pleased with it so far.
I'll post some things right now. I didn't really join in the discussions on IMDb. I was more of a lurker. I want this site to work because I'm grateful for all the hard work put into trying to archive the boards. I did look up a lot of actors' boards yesterday and sadly many of them are empty because I'm sure Jim didn't have enough time to save them. It's a pity.

Thank you very much Jim! Someone on the IMDb message boards compared the removal of the message boards to burning books and I agree. There is a ton of valuable information in the message boards!

Yes, two or three times a month. I love going to a movie theater and seeing a movie with an audience.
