It didn’t bother me at first since all the women are liked by the fans (although I personally never cared for Ahsoka), but 2 episodes in and I’m like “where are all the men?” For the good guys anyway? There’s not even enough fan-service to justify an all-female main cast here.
Aside from the robot, it's like all the major male characters so far are villains. Even the guys at the docks turned out to be bad guys. Something tells me Mando and Luke aren’t gonna show up to help (god forbid), while Ezra likely won’t appear till the very last minute.
Star Wars was a male-oriented franchise, so most of the cast were men, there’s nothing wrong with that. Women were welcome to check it out, and there were prominent female characters, but Star Wars was a guy thing. Women had their own fandoms, like Twilight and 50 Shades and stuff. Nowadays, it’s like women HAVE to be in every male-based fandom and change everything to suit their tastes, and I’m wondering why? Why must the force be female when women had their own fandoms?
