But you're okay with the people on this board who are obsessed with posting about him and supporting him? People who he doesn't know exist? (or even care about?
Yeah, he and his boys were kinda buck wild. I know it's based on actual history, but I have no idea how accurate it is. I treated it as a TV series. I had never heard of the Mormon Militia until this series. Just like any religion, they use it to justify their own personal beliefs liking having more than 1 piece of booty in the house, other motives, and even atrocities. Anything is righteous when you claim god is backing you.
I'm not positive, but I believe they detest black people as much as any religion or group. Something about all black people being fallen angels and are going to hell. (blah, blah, blah...whatever).
She was annoying as fuck, but it made sense. She was from the east, and there was every indication she had an affluent life. Someone like her, who is probably used to getting her way, is all of a sudden thrusted into a way of life she knew nothing about and was unprepared to deal with. She found out fast how the west lives and that the only thing that's important about her is her money.
At first, I did not plan to watch this show at all after hearing it was going to be brutal as what the west really was (my reasoning was, after already being quite informed about our horrific treatment of indigenous people, I didn't desire to see more of what I've already seen - thankfully, aspects of what I didn't want to see weren't present - though the slaughter was still portrayed).
When I first came across this, I didn't know it was based on a historic account. One I had never heard of. This wasn't so much about indigenous people getting treated badly. It was pretty much Europeans wiping out other Europeans and trying to frame the indigenous population for their crime. (Probably just as horrific, tho)
Next, how this series ended is how these series should end - tie up about all needed loose ends and leave dangling plot lines that could indicate a second season without cliched cliffhangers).
I liked the main characters (especially 2 moons), but seeing them in a 2nd season that's not based on actual history like this season was, sounds boring. if they can fit this fictional trio into more history, then I'm all for it.
Lastly, ignore the infantile people that bitch about no nudity during rapes scenes or during sex or the like. Such daft people need to stick to comic book movies. In all of the available streamig selections, a person could do much worse than this one.
Agreed. The immaturity is staggering.
Wow. That's all you got out of this show?
It was an excellent show. Your need for nudity tells all we need to know.
I recently watched one with the Brady Bunch. Kinda interesting to see.
16. Julia Roberts
17. Sandra Bullock
18. Halle Berry
19. Channing Tatum
It occurs in the first episode.
BSD all the way for me. This was very cinematic, thanks to today's advancements, but it can't compare to the '92 version.
