I know this thread is old but I wanted to share my opinions, too. I couldn't stand Fiona, either. Fiona, Frank, Debbie, and Monica were the worst characters. No, wait. I forgot to add Mickey's dad.
Oh, without a doubt.
I think they just reacted because it looked like she was about to stab Norman. *Spoilers for the script*
In the script it says that she gets shot, but survives but has gone mad. I think it was changed that she was killed because Anthony Perkins and Meg Tilly didn't get along.
Patti D'arbanville was cast, but it said she was uncredited. I don't recall seeing her anywhere in the movie.
I think she didn't like him at first because like she said, just because his dad is rich, Billy got to do it again. But later on, she started to like him, when she saw how good he was with the other kids.
Agreed, and very faithful to the book. The first one was, too. :)
I haven't read all these responses, but I forget her name, but what about the actress who plays Charlie? Or Gabrielle Union?
Bump
True, she doesn't clown around, but she can be just as childish as Herman and Grandpa. I like ALL the Munsters, though. :)
Well, I don't know if you read the books too, but *Spoilers*
Harry has constant nightmares and even has a bit of an attitude in the 5th book. They toned it down for the movie. The only time he really snaps in the movie is when he screams "LOOK AT ME!" to Dumbledore, but in the book he really has anger issues.
It doesn't matter who the cast is, it's going to be odd seeing different actors in the roles. I'm not saying they won't do a good job, it's just going to be strange.
Yeah, I think Marilyn's the only adult in that household sometimes, LOL.
I think she was scared of commitment. She did love Forrest, but it wasn't until she got her act together that she changed. I do like that she apologized to Forrest and in the end wanted to marry him. I thought that was sweet. I don't think Jenny was a bad person, just messed up from her past, and she felt like she wasn't good enough for Forrest. Just my opinion.
I wouldn't exactly call Peggy Bundy sensible.
LOL!
There's lots of shows where the characters are cruel.
The King of Queens
Everybody Loves Raymond
Shameless
Married... With Children
Seinfeld
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Parks & Recreation
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
The Sopranos
Apples Never Fall
Yellowstone
Sons of Anarchy
Plenty more
I liked the movie, and thought the acting was decent, but I wasn't expecting a tearjerker!!!
2. Women be shopping
For her character, I would say she dated Sherman for a bit, but they decided to just be friends, and eventually, she went to teach at another college.
Dean Richmond, definitely.
