Grow up This was great, Shatner is a horrible phony. Spaceballs: the quest for more money Original mad max has a beach and stuff and is a bit more grounded in reality, it’s before society fully collapsed The touching letters were post WW3 being carried by what was left of the government before it was overthrown. Email and phone were probably out of service at that point. The letters read in pine view the old woman reveals was from her relative who’s son survived the war and was expressing worry about the militia forces and Bethlehem’s predecessor (Nathan holn). Apparently mail carriers already had a reputation for bravery because they kept working and delivering even as things were falling apart (such as the wreckage Shakespeare sheltered in) Real life doesn’t feel repressive and intense like that, that’s what makes it so disturbing. Hulu series tries to lean on shock value beyond believability within the scope of the character. Some of the scenes are shot for shot ripped from the movie, hard to say it’s better. Especially because Robert Duvall and faye Dunaway and a Harold Pinter screenplay. Cmon now… I'd love to see pics of those cars if available I can answer some of this -- they made money selling drugs and fencing stuff (e.g. exotic cars) in central Europe. The group was them but also disaffected Russian military and scientists. They did hire the band. Their goal was to collapse governments and trigger a nuclear exchange. They wanted an anarchy-based world order. It’s very boring. It’s kind of like the skeleton of a good IP. I like the robots, their visual design was decent. The villain was mildly interesting, everyone else was totally forgettable. Definitley. 8/10 IMO. I went in with no expectations as it was a free Redbox. It’s basically about a family that takes Robert in at his lowest point. For a lower budget film the cinematography was excellent and the characters were actually quite good. It’s very different from a lot of movies of recent years, slower and contemplative. Makes the action and stakes more exciting actually. Rey’s skills are no different than Anakin’s on tattooine and the battle of Naboo though. No. I hate the ST because I grew up with the Thrawn trilogy, and I loved the prequels mostly. But the great parts about the prequels almost entirely exclude Natalie Portman and some of the highlights of the sequels involve Rey’s character and especially her chemistry with Adam Driver and Harrison Ford. It’s not a “mistake” to be an autistic judge of character where you second guess and question a Jedi master that just saved your life (and the chancellor that dispatched them to boot!) while an obviously predatory senator is “trustworthy”. Such decisionmaking is far more convenient to the plot than any of Rey’s decisions or abilities. Qui hon clearly explains to Anakins mother that Jedi gifts allow exceptional abilities to “see things before they happen” and Rey’s abilities with flight and and saber wielding make just as much sense as anakins abilities with his first time completion of a pod race and his flight over naboo. Rey makes poor decisions through the movies as well and is definitely not perfect, but the decisions are not as nonsensical as padme’s. Also — LOL for “natural for a big screen role”. She’s a stereotype just like the one embodied by the princess in space balls... “just what we needed, a druish princess!” I'd love to see him, he could be the main guy from the books, I think his name was Coran Horn? A movie about killing the first alternate version of himself and getting drunk on that growth in power/ability would be pretty sweet. Delroy Lindo's speech to Jet Li in jail before he got killed (trying to connect with him) also hinted at a pretty awesome character relationship/friendship that would be awesome to revist. Delroy Lindo really good at those speeches, he did one very similar in Gone with 60 Seconds about brotherhood or something and it gave teenage-me the feels! Attila came out after this, low budget but actually quite awesome in my opinion. Based on his underground bunker, though, I think he still would have been terrorizing them even if they were meticulously maintaining the property lol
