shareIs it just me or it's so hard to watch that I'm still not ready for new season? I love this show, but it's so damn dark, depressed and fucked up. Even worse, there will be Season 5.

shareI just saw the movie recently between seasons, so had a chance to compare. Nowhere nearly as intense and repressing atmosphere as in this series. The movie was light 80's entertainment in comparison. I'm sure Pinter can write story, but producers of the time probably wanted lighter tone.
shareReal life doesn’t feel repressive and intense like that, that’s what makes it so disturbing. Hulu series tries to lean on shock value beyond believability within the scope of the character.
