My predictions for season 2.
Poppy will join Gandalf and Nori. She'll be introduced as a possible villain stalking them just like Sam in LOTR.
They will not resist including a Smeagol cameo without naming him. Gandalf and the harfoots will run into him.
Isildur, Bronwyn and stupid kid will found Minas Ithil after fleeing west. It will be Bronwyn's idea and cringe as fuck.
I'm re-watching the Hobbit after the absolute trash that was Amazon's The Rings of Power and it's so refreshing.
That's the only woke thing they didn't shove in there. They must have saved it for season 2.

They don't resemble 1978's movie orcs at all. Bakshi's orcs looked like werewolves or baboons.

The Rings of Power's orcs look like refined versions of the ones of the LOTR movies. They even kept same speech pattern and accents.

Dumbass ugly elves who allowed themselves to be captured alive by orcs argue with them. Elf gets his throat slashed with little to no blood. The warg is a giant chihuahua.
3 episodes in and still nothing remotely interesting or good .
The cast of the new GoT show is diverse too and the reviews are positive.
Maybe Rings of Power is just terrible?

Great visuals overall for the cities and nature.
The music is really bland.
The main characters are all unlikable. Galadriel so far is your typical poorly written strong female who is just a stubborn turbo bitch. Elrond is awful. I don't care about black elf or the harefoots.
Casting is bad for the most part. I can't get over the colorblind nonsense where fair skinned characters have dark parents and vice-versa. It makes no sense even in fantasy universe.
The dwarven warriors in armors that escorted Elrond looked goofy as hell. They could barely move in their costumes and held their prop axes straight up without resting the handle on the ground or at least holding the head. The idea of these guys fighting seems laughable.
The movie relies a lot on nostalgia, I can't imagine someone new to Ghosbusters fully enjoying this.
