Studios and Network fear risky new material. They just want to sell more of the same.
There are some good ideas in there, but overall it was disjointed crap. Especially the first story starring Sigourney Weaver.
Neil Blomkamp got his first breakthrough when he was offered to make District 9 based on one of his short films.
His next movies, Elysium and Chappie, were not well received. Maybe he's struggling to get financed again. So this was a way to recreate that original lightning in a bottle.
I thought Zygote had a lot more in common with The Thing .
Sad but true.
Walt was a serial murderer by the time Breaking Bad ended. Saul didn't kill or want anyone to die .
After going down the darkest possible path, and to save his skin, maybe. He could have viewed her confession about Howard as a betrayal and felt justified to do the same.
I guess that's what we are supposed to get from it, not very subtle though.
This would be the most realistic end. Slippin's Jimmy in jail.
Alien.
Shut up.
Predators (the Adrian Brody one) is better than Prey.
There are 2 sides to a coin.
The movie is average, but critics go absolutely crazy because it's a native girl "smashing the patriarchy". It sits higher on the tomatometer than the original Predator and just a few points under on IMBD.
Keep the movie exactly as is, but replace Naru by a guy and the same critics would call it mediocre.
The worst thing is that in the end, little has changed. The leader is in jail for life, but the cult remains strong and the pedophilia and abuse is still ongoing.
Maybe it means they had a second guy in the suit for some scenes.
Yup, she killed a predator but her tribe is now decimated and will likely get attacked and assimilated by another tribe. You can't survive a missing generation of warriors in a tribe of 50 or so individuals.
Nailed it.
- I see roots that lower the body temperature to the point of appearing invisible to thermal vision
- I see natives hunting at night with torches.
- I see a native girl who gets saved by an invisible, intelligent humanoid creature and concludes that she must hunt it down instead of seeing it as a spiritual creature that she shouldn't mess with.
"The only trap she laid was dependent on the pure stupidity of the predator."
Yup, he apparently doesn't know how his own weapon functions.
A cougar is also called a mountain lion.
The funniest thing about the extreme left is the denial of their own existence. "Antifa isn't real", "woke isn't a thing", "There's no agenda"...
Or rather, don't behave in a real dictatorship like you would in your own country you falsely accuse of being one. That lesson is good for all those on the extreme left.
