Sure they just had to dupe people into seeing it. Even if this movie makes 3 billion dollars. How Dose that make it good. Battlestar Galactica Reboot ended with everyone turning into a ferry. I don't need a character to be prefect. I do need them to relatable some how. I find the Characters in the Grand Theft Auto games to be more Relatable and have more redeemable characteristic than most Modern TV show. And there nothing wrong with wanting characters that a little bit more normal. Especially since we had 20 years of this shit. Not every character needs to be "Hey im going sell drugs to 9 year old". Was Rocky Balbo perfect, no. But was he normal. Yes he was. I see more good films about normal people than modern tv.

And as far as Killing off the protagonist, Transformers the Movie killed Optimus Prime in the first 5 Minutes and that a cult classic. And unlike in this show, Optimus didn't come back in that movie. At least when people back then were complaining that Optimus was Sideline by "effeminate" HotRod. They were kids, not adults that act like kids.

At least in Joss Whedon version. Superman actually wanted to fucking save people. In this version Superman maim somebody and Wonder Women chops his head off. Very Compelling Cinema there, Best Superman ever, right, right. The only improvement was Cyborg. And Please stop acting like Zack Snyder is the new Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick. This just like all his other movies. Long, boring, pretentious and self indulgent with a lot of fucking Slow-mo.
