Using the term "butthurt fanboys" portrays you as a mindless parrot. I don't know why I continue to feed the trolls, but here's some more, from the RT review board: I believe I can show that the current audience score of 49% which RT displays for the Last Jedi is false. I can only speculate as to why they are lying but they clearly are. I did a statistical analysis of all of the audience reviews I was allowed to view. There are nearly 2000 pages of reviews and I was able to access 46 of them. This is a perfectly reasonable sample size which I believe represents an accurate reflection of the overall audience opinion. A five star rating system translated to a scale of 1 to 100 means that each star is worth 20 points. A half star is 10 points etc. Here are my results... .5 stars - 339 1 star - 173 1.5 stars - 66 2 stars - 90 2.5 stars - 23 3 stars - 19 3.5 stars- 12 4 stars - 26 4.5 stars 25 5 stars 95 A sample size of 868 audience reviewers awarded a total of 23390 points for an average user score of 33.8594. Less than 34%. I don't know why RT is lying to the public, but they are clearly preventing the audience score from falling below a certain level. If RT is protecting Disney's interests then this is a conflict of interest of the highest order and this site cannot be trusted. Why do you speak like a 14 year old trying to sound smart? Took me about 30 seconds to find evidence of industry collusion: https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-08-18/pharmaceutical-companies-influence-doctor-prescribing http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-2376-i-get-paid-to-write-fake-reviews-amazon.html https://www.cinemablend.com/games/Publisher-Admits-Game-Review-Scores-Heavily-Influenced-By-Trips-Parties-Swag-48395.html And also the fact that Rotten Tomatoes is owned by a group of huge media conglomerates doesn't help. It's not an illogical conspiracy theory. It's a reasonable theory. Don't act like giving a good review because you got a gift from a studio is as crazy as reptilian aliens running the whitehouse. Don't be an unwitting stooge. Rogue One was amazing, and a recent movie, and made by Disney. It's totally possible. No one can say much specific about what was good about this movie. Just a bunch of things like, "it moved the story forward", "it changed what starwars is about in a good way", "it was a much needed changed", "it challenged the viewer" etc. Just vague empty statements. The criticisms I'm reading are very detailed and specific. I saw rogue one and thought that was brilliantly executed, and hated TLJ. And actually went into the theater that Rogue one looked stupid and TLJ was going to be amazing. And I made the opposite conclusion before reading any reviews. And when I did read reviews many of then matched my personal thoughts. So if it's just nitpicky cynicism how to rogue one turn me into a fan and TLJ turn me off? Does "toxic femininity" exist? If you think not, then don't ever say "toxic masculinity" again. If you thought that was a great film then you should check out Mac and Me. You'd probably also like Scary Movie 5. Did you read any of the reviews? I read a large number of them and some of the negative reviews are amazingly well thought out. In fact most of the 4-5 star reviews were bots and trolls with one line or nonsensical comments. None of which you demonstrate here. The more people that call this shit out the more it snowballs and garners mainstream attention. If Disney realizes that the jig is up maybe they will make a better movie next time in fear of lost profits. There are literally hundreds of glaring plot holes. To find one more is not that surprising. Someone should create a wiki or some sort of central clearinghouse of all the plot holes in TLJ. You have the discernment of a toddler and the ignorance of a backwoods hermit if you think it's far fetched that review websites would collude with creators of a reviewed product. The two Hispanic males in TLJ were also put in their place. As was the black male. I didn't notice that. What was it at before? 3/5 is also not believable though. So it's now been over 24 hours since I posted this, and perhaps 80% of the reviews of TLJ 1/2 to 1 star, and yet user rating has stayed at 50%. That's all the evidence I need that this is rigged. You've got to be trolling right? Yeah, the alt right folks are definitely gonna hate this movie, but that is just sowing confusion, because the movie sucks on its own merit. No one calls themselves fanboys, as it's considered an insult. And if they do they are foolish. I've read hundreds of reviews of the movie, and most of them are pretty accurate and point to the same things. The person who wrote this "analysis" is the real "fanboy", in that they blindly defend a movie regardless of whether it is good or not. Mary Sue is a term describing a plot trope, not a term used by bigots to hate on women. I think your own biases are coming out. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Sue I'm a super leftist progressive that voted for Jill Stein, and Trump is trash. TLJ is still a flaming dumpster fire of a movie. It's funny that they are trashing the detractors of this movie as bigots or alt-right bots or whatever, when it actually is less diverse than previous star wars movies in some ways. The only black character is made into a somewhat dishonest buffoon, the two hispanic characters are both treasonous, and the one main asian character only cares about her selfish desire for a man rather than saving the rebellion. Just watch Rogue One for a well made movie with a very diverse cast that are all smart and play pivotal roles, and that diversity isn't rubbed in your face like you shit on the carpet. > there was "no place" for him in this story Yeah, that is definitely a crazy statement, considering there was a place for porgs, the weird slot machine alien in the casino, and Rose.
