You do realize these episodes are all fiction. No one was ever filmed eating his Lo Mein. Nor was it ever part of the script that anyone supposedly ate it”

Do you realize this is a fictional story? The script never explained.”
You do realize these episodes are all fiction? You do realize these episodes are all fiction?
You do realize these episodes are all fiction. You do realize these episodes are all fiction?
Is that all you say? In every reply?
Shut the fuck up.
TheCaretaker.
Agreed.
I don’t understand the hate towards Burt.
They could have switched them both around in Smokey & the Bandit or The Longest Yard or this movie, and it would have worked.
Same goes for Escape from Alcatraz or Deliverance.
TheCaretaker
I guess you haven’t heard of James Bond then.
TheCaretaker
“That's really imputing something that isn't in the script/film”
No, that’s interpreting an ending that was ambiguous.
TheCaretaker
Doesn’t Shane wear womens hosiery and hang around in gay bars, though?
TheCaretaker.
I know it’s not a movie.
I stated that it was an adaptation of “The Man with No Name”
That character has been in several movies and there is a link to High Plains Drifter. Which is a moot subject.
I’ll take your word that Shane preceded this character. But how is that relevant? If a writer is picking a movie or character from the past for inspiration, then it’s not prerequisite that a character or movie must be from the longer timeline.
They could have picked a movie from the mid 80s. And Shane is nothing like The Man with No Name. Shane is like a regular hero. He’s a bit of love struck douche.
The Man with No Name is the anti hero. The driver from Drive is the anti hero. And he doesn’t have a name.

Dude, you should stick to your PlayStation war games.
If you believe that a helicopter even just landing normally, less than 100 meters away would not wake up the dead, then you are deluded. Those computer war games have corrupted your mind.
AK Fire? SEALs use AK’s? Dude, again, in real life you can’t scroll through a list and power up with exotic weapons. This movie was a depiction of a real incident. It’s not Medal of Honour.
TheCaretaker
Close but no cigar, big chief.
It’s a modern adaptation of “The Man with No Name”.
TheCaretaker
That’s right little snowflake. Allaby.
This is a movie for adults, who were kids from the 80s. Boyz in the Hood took inspiration from this movie.
Breakfast Club is another one of ours. All these movies are classics, better than anything your generation will ever be capable of making.
Now run along. There’s a Hulk movie somewhere for you to watch and love. Even though it won’t be a patch on the original 80s TV series version.
It sucks to be a snowflake. You have nothing original. Nothing.
TheCaretaker
Being semantic would suggest that I’m picking apart the meaning of a word to draw a different conclusion when in fact it all means the same.
No, no, no chief.
Hitler and Stalin aren’t the same thing. And that’s an historical fact. Go grab an adult and ask them to run through the history of the Second World War with you, Snowflake.
TheCaretaker
You are a lier.
Nobody believes you. So go away.
“I know a guy” a bet you know a few, but seriously?
TheCaretaker
No no no.
Darth Vader wasn’t Anakin Skywalker.
Has the whole redemption thing gone over your head then?
Vader died at the end ROTJ and became Anakin Skywalker again. He died as the same man he was before the Dark Side made him Vader. He was already Vader and with the Dark Side when he murdered the young Jedi in ROTS.
Same goes for Ben Solo. Kylo Ren and Ben Solo weren’t the same person, hence the redemption at the end.
Luke Skywalker and his surname is synonymous with saving the galaxy and destroying the Empire. It is also synonymous with the Jedi Order and all things good. The man is a hero.
That’s what Rey chose the name.
It’s nothing like trading Hitler for Stalin. And Stalin wasn’t in the same category as Hitler anyway.
TheCaretaker
What a stupid question.
For the same reason nobody from Germany uses the surname “Hitler”
TheCaretaker
It was Han’s medal she gave to Chewie.
They didn’t have a new one commissioned 42 years later you wang.
It was a nice end touch. Mainly there to keep the little Snowflakes happy. And they did melt.
TheCaretaker
Watched it today, this morning 23rd December.
It’s well worth the watch. If the seats had more legroom I would watch it again at the cinema.
TheCaretaker
It’s not about you not supporting Disney though is it?
It’s about you being too tight to pay £7.50 or $10 to go and see the movie.
It’s less than the price of two beers.
Get your hand in your pocket. It’s only money.
And I promise you, you need to experience this at the cinema. It’s epic. You won’t capture the experience on TV.
TheCaretaker
Still on the moan Foebane72.
You need to listen to yourself.
Moan moan moan. You’re not a very positive person are you.
