The hotness of the assassins makes no sense

Assassins are supposed to be nondescript so as to not draw attention to themselves. There's no way a hot girl or guy would be chosen as to assassinate someone because people would naturally pay attention to them by virtue of their looks.

I don't see the guy or the girl as HOT. Both are handsome, but in a nondescript way, not the overpowering cover model way.

You have a point. When I browse an assassin cataloque I choose the most plain looking.

Great one, mikainen! Thanks for the laugh.

And please send me that uh...well-thumbed catalogue when you're done with it!

OK, I'll play along within the context of the film - attractiveness also helps with another quality: seduction. Sure, some killers specialize only in sniping, or IED kills, but what if they have to get "up close and personal" and seduce the victim into letting their guard down? Or seduce someone that could give them better access to their target?

"...and Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lotta ice, whenever he's away."

I consider this movie to be a kind of soft core gun porn. People who like this stuff will generally trade a bit of accuracy for hot actors.

Throughout the ages women have used beauty to assassinate men.

Not to mention, the first person they will point to after assassination is NOT the hottest chick. They will look for men, then ugly women and then MAYBE they will think "hmm, the person who is hottest was the killer?".

This is the same reason why women get away with raping children while men get ten times more sentence. You are not programmed to suspect hottest person, esp. hot women with having brains to kill.

Agree. Throughout the movie, I couldn’t help but think that Clooney was too handsome and well-dressed. He would stand out wherever he went.

I guess you haven’t heard of James Bond then.
