How did Furio slip out so fast?

Did he go home that night, throw a bag together, go to the airport and leave a message at the Bing in the middle of the night before his flight left then call the realtor from Italy and have them sell the house for him? Where was he when Tony woke up with a hangover and noticed he hadn't come to pick him up? Already in flight? What do you think?

reply

Do you realize this is a fictional story? The script never explained how Furio left nor did they film any scenes showing how he left.

I can't answer because I only saw the series once and don't remember small details well, but I think OP was hoping someone could speculate where and how.

All I remember about Furio was I was both disappointed we didn't see him kick the crap out of the guy that beat up the restaurant guy and that his character didn't last longer in the show. I thought Furio was a great character.

reply

Yea the show sort of went down hill once he left.

They could have gotten back if they had an episode where A.J. and Meadow got whacked!!

Smh

Exactly.

By this other guy's logic, Furio and Jean-Phillipe were both just actors and it was just a "fictional story" and Furio didn't really beat the crap out of Jean-Phillipe. But it sure is fun to imagine what Furio could have done to him.

I have a pretty good imagination, but it would have been very satisfying to see the Frenchman get his ass kicked by Furio!!

Yes, genius, people know it's fiction. The actor that played Furio doesn't even have an accent off screen so clearly he was acting. But sometimes it's fun to speculate about these things. That's why people are still debating to this day about the final episode and whether Tony was "killed" or not. The actor wasn't in the mob and nobody killed him. What fun is it to just say it's ficton and the people are just acting? Too bad the point of the thread went way over your head.

You do realize these episodes are all fiction. No one was ever filmed eating his Lo Mein. Nor was it ever part of the script that anyone supposedly ate it”

Do you realize this is a fictional story? The script never explained.”

You do realize these episodes are all fiction? You do realize these episodes are all fiction?
You do realize these episodes are all fiction. You do realize these episodes are all fiction?

Is that all you say? In every reply?

Shut the fuck up.

Good question, I just watched this episode tonight and every time I watch it I picture Furio half drunk, in the pitch black, moving all his shit out of the house at 4am, because when Carmella goes there and looks through the window the place is completely empty.
