I remember being in a music store in 2000 and a kid wanted to buy the Jaws DVD and they wouldn’t sell it to him. That movie came out when I was in grade school and every kid in the school went to see it.
I saw The Abyss last year at the theater for its November 2023 re-release and I think the scene was in the movie. That liquid they used is a coolant called Fluorinert. I worked at a company once that used that to test the waterproofing of optical transceivers by submerging them in it.
I heard she opened up a restaurant in my old home town, Key West, FL.
I had some interest in it but I couldn’t get pass the CGI.

My mother used to watch his show. He was full of horseshit peddling crap like homeopathy which is just make believe.
Back in grade school they used to use mimeograph machines to make copies of tests and handouts before they were replaced by photocopiers. The mimeographs had purple ink that smelled after freshly printed.

Was there only one Morris? Typically animal actors are several generations and are replaced when they get older.
The title is from that early 90s commercial for a deodorant by Mennen targeted at teenage girls. I remember seeing that commercial and when the song came out and hearing the title thinking “Like the commercial?”.

On the Andy Griffith show the episode where Everett Sloane plays a farmer with an illegal still and Opie is the “keeper of the flame” in his club Andy tells Opie that Andy’s father “explained to him” about playing with fire.
My favorite movies with her have nothing to do with dancing.

There is a 1990 episode of Columbo where she makes a cameo as herself. I think it would have been funny if she had played Mildred.
I don’t know which is funnier, that he implies that this movie is at the same level as Oppenheimer, or that he is 15 to 20 years behind on IMAX.
When I first heard of the movie I thought it might be interesting to see but that CGI just turned me off.
I think it was in the early 80s that the producers stopped James Bond from smoking cigarettes in the movies? I remember him smoking cigars afterwards though.
LAPD retired that number and a replica badge was buried with Webb after he passed.
