Eggs
I have three hens who are laying eggs at a pace I cannot leep up with. What do I do with my surplus eggs?

shareA family around here leaves their extras in reused cartons by the mailbox and sells a dozen for 5 or 6 bucks a dozen. It’s a good way to teach young kids to have a gig and earn some money.
shareLet them hatch and sell the chicks to snake owners.
shareSpeaking of eggs, how high does the price need to get for you to stop buying them? I'd say over $8.50 a dozen.
shareTurn them into ice cream, egg yolks are the main base of ice cream and most recipes require at least 6 yolks. You can also keep the shells and grind them into plant fertilizer - apparently they're really good for tomatoes and other plants because they contain so many nutrients.
shareI find it funny that there is an egg shortage considering I don’t care for them yet they come with almost every breakfast I order at a restaurant.
shareI find this odd, even paradoxical, that a well known, successful chef doesn't like eggs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7yaNjNK7ho
