I don't know about you but I didn't have digital gadgets during my younger days to document anything. I didn't even have normal camera. I would have loved to document some of the people who I still think of to this day. Indeed no one will get those years backa and I yearn to relive them at least once again. I must make a plan to do this perhaps I am too old (I am in my late 30s) for such a thing. I love my luxury during travels too. There are so many things I want to do but also unable to due health and of course the old chestnut 'money'. :-( That would be such a nice thing to do. Of course, a mobile (with charger) is a must. I have replied in other thread about time-travel and mentioned few things about my childhood/teenage years. They were indeed one of the happiest times of my life. The Flintstones (1994). Truly epic proportions of stupid, boring, inane movie making. Possibly the worst movie ever IMHO. My wife and I kept looking at each other thru the movie and no one was making a move out so we just got up and left. I know one person then followed us - don't know about the others. The Bourne series of movies. I enjoyed the first one immensely and very well directed by Doug Liman. Similar to you, we (again my wife & I) walked out of The Bourne Supremacy for headache and nausea due to stupid camera work (for no reason whatsoever). After than never saw any of the Bourne movies and any movies directed especially by the hack Paul Greengrass. I have heard that Green Zone is even worse in that the camera is shaking even when two people are just sitting and talking. Why 110? Why not go 200 or 300 or more? Means another 100/200 years worth of extra movies/tv shows. :0) Agree about Widows. The movie that turned out nothing like the trailer and based on a TV show which was infinitely better. Indian Fighter (1955) 6/10. Kirk Douglas and co western. This was fine as far as it went. Fargo (1996) 8/10. Very enjoyable movie. Coen brothers usually make interesting movies. On a side note, the Fargo TV shows (3 different seasons with different stories/actors/setting) is also very good. Infinity War (2018) 9/10. Now this is my kind of movie. Loved it all. Saw it at the cinema and now on BluRay. I am to the point. I love westerns. First movie I ever saw was a western and fell in love with the genre. I know the movie representation of the wild west on 99% of the movies was sanitised. As someone else pointed out, it was about hand painted signs, pretty girls (as per the sanitised movies), one on one gunfights, larger than life hero, horse rides (I tried few times and almost felt virtigo as it just seemed too high on a horse back and even an indoor horse riding seemed to be going at 100 miles per hour), etc. I so admire these guys riding horses in a chase in a movie, especially old westerns. But, I would not want to live there in reality as the life must have been extremely hard. Exactly and not forgetting the treatment of black people as well. For example, the infantry of black people are almost never mentioned in westerns. Glory seem to be an exception. Interesting. I suppose the first thought it to see a family member you have not met before. Another thought is to go meet someone famous from the past. Personal; I would go back to see my father who passed away when I was 2. Other; Go into future say 500 years and see if humanity is still around or whether they have destroyed themselves. Quite frankly the way the world is going I don't see much hope for humanity in the long run. Wow. That must really be so nice. I have never done a road trip in my life. :-( Love Blade Runner Hate Blade Runner 2050 (too long, too boring and just plan rubbish movie IMHO) Both. I loved Robin Williams and for me he could do no wrong in either role. Miss him so much. Get me home now This is easy. McKenna's Gold. That was my first western and loved evert minute of it. I still love with all the back projections and fake mountains/etc. Neither do I and I don't really care. I loved Avatar (in 3D) and tried to watch in 2D (TV/flight) but didn't enjoy it one bit. Quite frankly, I don't care about any of the sequels to Avatar. Have you been watching Billions again! ;-) I would show them Indepence Day (just the first one of course) :0) Presumeably, where you can select where to live in while time travelling. I would love that too. Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind going back to my teen years and finding my 1st girlfriend. I still remember her 30 years later that's how beautiful/interesting/good/happy person she was. I am not saying I am not happy now but that was just different time. Being naughty, I wouldn't mind seeing my lovely neighbour too from about 30 years. :0) Preferably with Arnold Swarzenegger as Conan rather than the other dude who was terrible. ;-) There are lots of others but I have had no time (haha) to watch them.
