What movie setting do you wish the real world looked like?

By setting I mean the look of the art-direction. I choose A Clockwork Orange. It's close to the world we live in now, but with kick.

Night of the living dead.

Just remember to pick the basement whenever you get trapped inside a house, and don't bring your bitten daughter down there.

reply

Worst choice in movie history!
'Let's trap ourselves in the basement'
It's like the 'Let's climb to the top floor of the building and trap our own asses' trope

So stupid

reply

Well, to be fair it is the first zombie movie ever made, zombies wouldn't exist in this world even as fiction, it was a concept just as new to the viewers as it was to the characters. No one really knew how things worked XD

Creature With the Atom Brain (55)
😬

reply

I mean modern zombies as in being cannibalistic and turning others into zombies through disease.

reply

Sounds like fun...until you're cornered that is!

And remember, the cellar is the safest place!

reply

The zombies in this one were also slightly smarter than a typical zombie is, at least the cemetary zombie was, i feel if they knew you were down there they would figure out a way in. The attic might be the place you want to choose instead, like in the 90's remake.

reply

The cellar saved Ben's life in the original.

reply

Sure, but it might've been because they didn't know about him, if they did it seems weird they would leave.

Lord of the rings

2001
clean, uncluttered.

I agree.

😎

reply

Terribly unconvenient telecomunication system tho'.

reply

I'm okay with the interior, but always being in space would be inconvenient for me.

The New World

reply

Star Trek

reply

New or old series? I feel the new one is more colourful.

reply

Probably TNG.

reply

That's my favourite version. It always seemed like a set but it seemed the most realistic out of all of them.

reply

The Enchanted April.

reply

Conan the Barbarian, complete with random dinosaur skeletons.

reply

Preferably with Arnold Swarzenegger as Conan rather than the other dude who was terrible. ;-)
