They already confirmed that if/when they bring him back, they'll just bring in his brothers and use CGI. Just like what they did with Furious 7. No re-casting or anything. Just do what they had to do to complete Furious 7. No. They said that if/when they bring him back, they'll just do what they did to finish Furious 7 (bring in his brothers and then CGI his head onto their bodies). I read the article. Everyone is getting excited about nothing. The article never once says John Wick 5 IS 100% happening/confirmed. The article is just repeating already known knowledge, which is pretty much that Keanu and the director MAY return, but they need a REALLY good story to come back. And it doesn't matter what Lionsgate or whoever wants. If they feel there is no good story to keep things going, then they aren't going to come back. Plus the director wants a break to do other stuff, and Keanu says he WILL NOT return unless the director returns. So everyone is getting carried away. Nothing is official. John Wick 5 is just in a in-talks status. But with everything I said in a different comment, we will probably never get John Wick 5. Unless they re-cast, or throw a ton of money at Keanu and the director to make John Wick 5 more priority for the two of them to do than other projects. I don't think so. They might say it's confirmed, but I call BS. Keanu said he WILL NOT return unless the director returns/Keanu refuses to return unless the director returns. But the director said he wants to do two other movies/projects before returning to John Wick. You are look at 2-4 years per movie/project with maybe a year or two in between for a break or prepare for the next movie/project. Keanu is pretty much 60 now. So by the time the director finishes those projects, Keanu will be like 65-70 age range at the minimum. By then, Keanu will be too old and not be able to move around like he could with the previous movies. And one common thing I hear everyone talk about when it comes to John Wick 4 is that Keanu looked like age/time was catching up to him. He looked tired and stuff all throughout the movie and not moving around like he was in John Wick 1 and 2. So probably when they finally do around to John Wick 5, they'll probably say f'k it and call it quits and say 4 is the last one. The director also said the John Wick movies MUST end with John Wick dying. No if's, and's, or but's. And how does John Wick 4 end? Yeah. I don't believe anything when it comes to John Wick 5. It's all talk. We aren't getting a 5th movie. Just spinoffs. Plus it would be dumb to kill off John Wick, go through a bunch of BS to explain how he is still alive (including throwing out logic), and then eventually kill him off again because the director has said the John Wick movies MUST end with John Wick dying. Such a stupid idea to do a John Wick 5. Then throw in that A LOT of people said John Wick 4 ends perfectly and to leave it alone and not do 5, 6, 7, 8, and so on. We never saw her fight though (in 8 and 9). And there was no real reason for her to show her fighting skills until that scene with Momoa. 9, she was pretty much locked up the whole time. 8, she had more resources and men, so she could've conserved her energy and let others do the fighting. She's probably like Yoda. Only fight when necessary. Yoda doesn't really need that cane to walk, but he chooses to use it to throw off his opponent and make them think he is weak. That's how I looked at things. Actually, I never called BS when she started to fight. I figured she always had it, but never really needed to use those skills until she did. Plus 10's marketing helped since they heavily showed the Letty and Cipher fight. So the scene with Momoa wasn't too much of a surprise. I consider that a win. Dom was still standing in the end. Plus Statham got sent to prison. If you face Dom or Letty in a fight, you aren't winning. Come on. Letty defeated Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano. Dom defeated The Rock and Jason Statham. Cipher should be easy to take down compared to Ronda and Gina. Not really new news. They were discussing this during the couple years between the release dates of 8 and 9. I remember going into 9 having the knowledge that an all-female spinoff was being discussed. But with how 10 ends, I can see why they started up talks again. Cipher is a good guy (for now) and Gal Gadot/Gisele is back. And Brie Larson is part of the cast. Plus Elena's sister. So they got four more names to add to the cast. Before, it would've been Mia, Ramsey, Letty, Mother Shaw/Helen Mirren, maybe the Shaws' sister from Hobbs & Shaw, maybe the girl from Tokyo Drift, that girl with Han in Fast & Furious 9 (where was she in 10, by the way?), and maybe Monica/Eva Mendes. But now they got all those plus Gisele, Cipher, Elena's sister, and Tess/Brie Larson/Little Ms. Nobody. So when combining all those names, that's quite the cast and team, although it might be overboard/too much. Maybe just limit to five or so. And if they do limit, Mia, Letty, Gisele, and Ramsey will be in the movie for sure. Mia and Letty were the two original female characters, they just revived Gisele and Gal Gadot is a little more well known now because of being Wonder Woman, and Ramsey is the tech expert. Everyone else is a little more iffy. Unless they do seven, which then they could add Elena's sister, Cipher, and Tess. Seven is another decent amount of characters without going overboard. Theory is debunked. Hobbs passed on the info about the team to Mr. Nobody. It's said very quickly in a line of dialogue in 7 or 8. Or it's implied because Hobbs and Mr. Nobody are good friends from what we see in 8. Also, in 9, Mr. Nobody believed Gisele to be dead. Just pay attention to his conversation with Han when the movie is explaining how Han survived. And Statham says (in the 8th movie) that his brother was working for Cipher in 6. Cipher approached Statham to help her (which is the 7th movie). And with Statham's brother working for Cipher, that's probably how Statham's brother ended up in a hospital bed at the beginning of 7. Cipher recovered him and then probably used him to further persuade Statham. And while Cipher was recovering Statham's brother, she spotted Gisele. And Jakob went rogue because he hates Dom. Well, hated him since things were good by the end of 9. He discovered that Mr. Nobody and Dom were working together and didn't like that, so he went rogue. But Jakob has been hating Dom since the flashbacks scenes of 9. I think If I were to rank them, it would go: 1) Fast Five 2) Fast & Furious 6 (although you can tell they merged cuts/takes because The Rock's facial hair is all over the place and in just one scene, and I find it a distraction, also, this had a final movie feel to it and it seemed like a REALLY good way to wrap up the narrative) 3) Fate Of The Furious (this is how you do an 8th movie, Star Wars, and I was interested in Dom for once, although I liked the back-and-forth between The Rock and Jason Statham more than Dom) 4) Furious 7 (I liked the whole thing of Jason Statham as the bad guy, and I liked the action) 5) 2 Fast 2 Furious 6) Tokyo Drift 7) Fast X aka Fast & Furious 10 (I didn't like it as much as the six I ranked higher, but I liked it more than the others below this and I had more fun with this movie than the three below) 8) Fast & Furious aka the fourth movie (would've put it lower than 1, but this has a little more of an interesting plot, plus the movie confirms Brian and Mia are back together, always liked those two when it comes to movie couples and one of the few movie couples I could get into, and it's nice to know while watching Tokyo Drift that the two are together/back together since Tokyo Drift is set after 4, 5, and 6) 9) The Fast And The Furious (sorry, but the sequels ruined this movie for me, just seems like a prologue movie now and isn't as eventful, plus the first time I saw the movie, I was expecting more race scenes like the opening one, but it never went back to that kind of racing and it HEAVILY focused on tracking down who was hijacking semis, so I was REALLY let down by it and forced myself to like it, but now I feel I can be more open about stuff and not be afraid to say how I truly feel about the movie since there are other Fast & Furious movies I like more) 10) Fast & Furious 9 (the movie was a mess, and the ridiculousness of the action wasn't even the movie's main problem for me, it was everything else) I noticed that as well, but I figured that it was the sound of all the cars mixing together and bouncing off the tunnel walls (including an echo) that made it sound like that. Like sound trickery. Things can sound differently in different settings. So I shrugged it off. I told myself, "you just want to hear a TIE fighter" and/or "you are hearing something that really isn't there." I thought of it as maybe like how our eyes try to see a face in something like a building/house (eyes, nose, and mouth mainly), only it's a sound/audio version. My only issue with him was that I don't know why everyone thought it was such a huge shocker/surprise when it was revealed that he was working with Momoa the whole time. From his first scene he seemed like a villain character and I didn't trust him. Even the marketing made it seem like he was a bad guy and on Team Momoa. I honestly believe something happened in 2020 and everyone forgot stuff about movies. Everything seems new/fresh/never done before to everyone (Shoot, I've seen/read people say that M3GAN is the first of it's kind and we need more killer robot/doll movies. Um, hello, Child's Play 1-3 and the remake). I don't know why it was such a shocker/surprise that Aimes was a bad guy. Did everyone get their mind erased/messed with during 2020? Is this a side effect of the vaccine? (I'm not vaccinated) This just frustrates me, and I don't know what's so mind blowing about it. Well, I have watched it twice. I watched a CAM first on a pirate streaming site (on the 18th) and then I saw it again in theaters (9pm EST on the 19th, and as I type this, I just got home from the theater). Also, screw the virus. I'm one of those idiots that thinks the virus was a joke, and I don't take it seriously. I want to say I got it a few times, but it's no different than a flu or cold. And I have been going back to the movie theater since June or July 2021 (whenever Fast & Furious 9 released, which was the first movie I saw in theaters when they re-opened). I've never had issues going to the movie theater. I feel fine before and after seeing a movie in theaters. Whatever you say. I like a little bit of everything. If you don't like them, whatever. Leave those who like them alone. And if you don't like the movies, why are you even here to begin with? I don't like Scream 6 and think it's a POS. I'm not over on Scream 6's message board calling everyone names for liking it and going on about how much I hate it. The most I would do is make a thread reviewing the movie and saying how much I didn't like it. But I wouldn't keep returning and spamming how much I hate it. I also hate Twilight. I'm not in those message boards flipping out on the fans and calling them rude names. You just have a problem. And get over it. Everyone has their own individual likes and dislikes and you can't accept that. It all makes sense when you watch the movie. And don't yell at me. I'm just recapping what's in the movie. I'm not making up anything or theorizing. I'm just recapping and going off of what they present to us. But Momoa REALLY hates Dom and gang and wants to tear them apart and stuff. So that's why he framed the team for what happens in Rome with the bomb. Momoa is kind of a mix of Joker and Bane. He is crazy/messed up in the head like Joker, but he wants to break the team first in every way possible and then when the time comes, then he'll "give them permission to die." Also, when I say you have to piece stuff together yourself and the movie won't hold your hand 100% of the way, it's because the Letty stuff is VERY spread out throughout the movie. The movie bounces between like 4-5 different stories/plots because of how split up everyone is. You got Dom's stuff, Cena and Dom's son (probably my least favorite), Momoa's scenes, the Letty and Cipher stuff, Aimes and Tess/Brie Larson, and then Han, Roman, Tej, and Ramsey. Maybe one or two more. Some of them do cross paths though. Like Aimes and Tess will eventually meet up with the Dom stuff, but Tess meets up with Dom in an earlier scene of the movie. And then Tess pays Letty a visit in prison. So yeah. There is quite a bit to keep track of. So you might forget details on something like the plan to break out Letty. But the movie is leaving it up to you to keep track of stuff. It isn't going to hold your hand. You have to keep up. I have a few actors in mind that could play Brian. But they already said they are bringing in Paul Walker's brothers or just one of them and doing the whole CGI thing like they did in 7. I think they assumed Gisele died because Han actually witnessed her death. And he was a wreck during the aftermath. So with how Han was, everyone seemed pretty convinced she was dead. But I'm not sure why they didn't go back to recover her body and give her a funeral. That could be a plot hole/goof. Another possibility is they hadn't gotten their pardons yet, so maybe they had to flee the runway immediately or else they would've been arrested and stuff, although Hobbs was there to cover for them. I'm not sure if they were in a country that had extradition, so it was possible that there could be a screw-up and everyone gets sent back to the U.S. in cuffs before Hobbs could do all the paperwork to clear them. And with that, they had to leave Gisele there and recover her later. There could've also been issues with Gisele's body on getting it to the U.S. too. Maybe the government of the country they were in didn't want to hand her over, and her body had to be left behind, but then Cipher intercepts the body (by the end of 6, Cipher has to be watching them already since Statham's brother was already working for her). Also, Gisele isn't American (I think they say in 4 or 5, which country she is from, but she isn't American), so she probably wasn't allowed to be buried in the U.S. So while Hobbs was getting everyone back into the U.S., Gisele was sent off to her home country and buried there, and then maybe Cipher intercepted the body at some point. Both right and wrong. Gal Gadot returns The Rock returns Paul Walker returns, but they just do flashbacks to previous movies using footage from those movies. Definitely at the beginning when have to show Momoa's POV in Fast Five. Dom doesn't die. Things are left on a cliffhanger, but someone will probably come in at last second and save him (and his son). It'll probably be very anti-climactic and not worth the 2 years of waiting. It'll probably be wrapped up in the opening scene of 11. My guess is Mr. Nobody/Kurt Russell makes his big return and saves him. Jason Momoa is definitely a bad guy. No way he is turning good. They are definitely setting him up to be the big villain for the remainder of the movies. There is a character plot twist at the ending of 10. Momoa planted someone among the team, but he did it to show Dom that not everyone can be converted to the good guys (the person that is planted reveals they are working with Momoa). With the speech Momoa gives at the end to Dom, he (Momoa) is staying a villain. Cipher though becomes a good guy. And Momoa does so much damage to the good guys, there is no way to convert him. Momoa's character is pretty much what they should've done with Jason Statham's character in 7. Or they knew they screwed up with Statham and are now doing things right with Momoa's character. Cipher was breaking Letty out of prison and Gisele is pretty much their way out/is waiting for them outside the prison (which is in Antarctica). Looks like Gisele is working for Cipher since Cipher more than likely recovered her body and revived her. The reason Letty was in prison is because the whole team is wanted again. Momoa frames them for the bomb in Rome and Letty got caught. Everyone else is on the run though. Tess/Brie Larson/Ms. Nobody is pretty much how Cipher got in the prison (off screen, but Tess pretty much tells Letty she has a way to get her out and injures Letty and then when Letty is getting her injury taken care of, she turns her head and there is Cipher on the table next to her (stuff from the trailer)). But Gisele is part of Cipher and Tess' plan to getting Letty out. It's explained when you watch the movie from beginning to end, although you have to kind of piece it together yourself. The movie isn't going to 100% hold your hand on stuff. I can see it being a full redemption, but I can see her betraying Dom, Letty, and the others in 11 (and maybe 12 if they do officially say 12 is 100% happening (only Vin is saying 12 and not Universal themselves)). But after watching 10, she is kind of reminding me of Aria T'Loak from the Mass Effect games. I think they are going the Aria T'Loak route with her. And it almost seems like her story arc is going to be the Omega DLC from Mass Effect 3. In the Citadel DLC, Aria takes back Omega from losing it. I feel Cipher's story arc in 11 (or maybe in 12) is going to take back everything that Momoa stole from her. Pretty much. Looks like they are setting up Jason Momoa to be the final big baddie of the movies instead of Cipher. I wanted Cipher to be the final big baddie though and Jason Momoa to team up with the good guys.
