I think that was an edit for the show to take account of Lenas age, Cersei is mid 30s in the books. I think Cersei is only supposed to be mid-30s. Joffrey was only 14 when he died and I know Cersei was married to Robert at 18 and had Joffrey after 2 years which makes her 34. The actors are much older than the characters, Dany was only 13 in the first book whereas Emilia was 25. Lena Headey is 43 in real life. I would love to see Gary Oldman in it.. I just hope it's more of an Olenna type role than a pointless Ed Sheeran cameo! One way or another, the wall and the nights watch are probably going to be irrelevant by the end of this. Either they find a way through and kill everyone, or the nights watch win the battle and wipe out the white walkers. I don't think there is an option to go back to the way things are now (and they don't have to worry about the wildlings now they've allowed them all past the wall anyway). It doesn't ruin it though in my mind. Ted Levine was also in Ray Donovan.. I didn't recognise him because he looked so different but I could tell it was him from his voice. Very true! I agree, they're certainly packing a lot in now and it's kind of hard to keep up sometimes and definitely easy to miss things. Although it feels like not much happened this episode (because it didn't have so much action), there are a lot of things which I'm sure are going to come up later... like Littlefingers note, what is his plan for Arya??? Cersei being pregnant again, Sam now the heir to the Tarly fortunes, Sam reading about Raegar getting an annulment... lots of little seeds planted this episode! I agree.. I was shocked they showed him rescued straight away, they normally drag these things out!! I was worried we wouldn't find out what happened to him for ages! It is a bit of a shame because they made him out to be kind of pivotal (maybe he is in the books, not read that far yet) and he seems to have ended up being just a bit of muscle... I do think they're using him to draw parallels between Roberts rebellion and showing that it's history repeating with the descendants working together. I agree, I wasn't a fan of Abbey either, she just seemed miserable all the time... but then I guess, most of the characters do on this show. No, I don't... I have had to make absolutely no changes to my life for Muslims (who are often British citizens anyway). I WAS born here and have lived here all my life and can tell you, absolute nonsense. We ARE a multicultural country but white Christians are still the majority. Have you ever even been to England or are you relying on Fox News and Donald Trump to tell you what's going on? I was waiting for that too.. I think the escort would have been too cliched, I was hoping it would be Esme. Haha... yeah, freedom so long as you're a white middle class man. I wonder how many women have had guns taken off them by these 'big strong men' too... I do know that more people are killed by toddlers with guns in America than by terrorists though. And I wouldn't get into a 'kickboxing match', I would bite, scratch, kick, hit and scream and would fancy my chances more than getting hold of a gun that is kept in my bag once someone has snuck up on me and is attacking me. And I don't think it is a realistic means of defending myself.. I just think it would be adding a deadly weapon into an already dangerous situation which might not go my way. I would rather rely on myself than potentially put a gun in his hands! Of course women are sometimes attacked, but if I was grabbed, I doubt I would be able to get a gun and do something sensible with it in those circumstances... and who is to say he wouldn't get it off me and decide to shoot me instead of 'just' raping me if he's so strong? But most of the guns own by criminals were once legal guns... stolen from other people or shops, they didn't just appear from nowhere. If there are less legal guns, there will be less illegal guns. I've genuinely never felt the need for a gun to defend myself from violence or an evil government, I find it sad that Americans do.
