About Chris Isaac's cameo, and I see him and laugh and laugh.

I've somehow completely missed that cameo. Something to look for on a rewatch I guess.

But I was shocked when I finally made the connection that Ted Levine (Buffalo Bill) also played the Captain on Monk. I don't know why I was so surprised by an actor changing for a role, but there you go.

It took me a moment to remember what lift scene you were talking about. I can't believe I forgot that one.

I went on Youtube to check it out, and it is an odd cameo, isn't it. Or the man was just acting :D

Hmmm... Pretty sure you are mistaking with Seven. It is two pretty similar movies so you are forgiven but John C. McGinley doesn't appear in The Silence of the Lamb. X)

Ted Levine was also in Ray Donovan.. I didn't recognise him because he looked so different but I could tell it was him from his voice.

I've never seen Ray Donovan (just some bits on TV). I'm not surprised though, looks like the man is a cameleon!

ted levine is an actor, he has acted in film/tv after his acting of buffalo ben in silence of the lambs, although he did not reprise that role for the sequel red dragon or hannibal with ray loitta
