Three engineers, one mechanical, one electrical, and one software engineer flew into a distant city for a convention. When they got there, they decided to to share a taxi to the hotel.
Halfway to the hotel, the engine just quit working, and they were trying to diagnose the problem.
“It must be the fuel pump,” said the mechanical engineer. “Notice how the engine misfired before it quit working.”
“No, it’s the alternator,” said the electrical engineer. “Did you see how the lights flickered before the engine died?”
“I know what to do,” said the software engineer. “If we get out and then get back in, it should start right up!”
Small-town doctor always stops in local bar on his way home and has an almond daiquiri. This time the doc tells the bartender his drink tastes different.
The bartender says he ran out of almond flavoring.

It was a huge mistake. Universal notified thousands of theaters that it would be sending out a new version of the film with updated CGI, in a move that is 'unheard of' for a film that's already been released.

We used to play this game here on MC quite a while ago now. But we called it Two Truths and a Lie.
The person who guessed correctly got to start another round, if I remember correctly. We'd go all night sometimes. We didn't make people wait for two days to get the right answer.

I grew up before home computers were a thing. To earn money, I babysat the neighbor's children, as did my sister. My four brothers all had paper routes, delivering both afternoon and morning papers, so yes, they were working seven days a week. Plus they had to go out every week to collect from their customers.
Yes, I know. My grandchildren have a lot of those kits. It's interesting how many pieces they have. Some of them are really tiny. They all love 'em.
