Record high temp yesterday at 80β (27β). Tomorrow we may see snow. Seriously. Good thing is it won't stay and may not accumulate much at all. Oh, and we can really use the rain that will accompany it. We're back to drought conditions across almost the entire state.
Trick-or-treaters will have to wear coats over their costumes this year. Bummer.
The Great Halloween Blizzard of 1991 won't be forgotten by anyone who experienced it. Snow began falling late afternoon on Halloween and didn't stop for three days - over 28" fell. This is not Buffalo, NY, where this amount is hardly worth mentioning, but it's a lot for the Twin Cities.
