So good. Riz absolutely crushed it. Well-earned Oscar nom.
That’s original. Hey, what it do, Scorsese? Ya good ol’ gatekeeping purist goodfella who speaks for all the true “back in my day!” boomer-minded elitists of the world.
Fact: they make *all types* of quality films and shows these days. In fact, whether they come out in theaters or steaming services, they’re making more of them than ever before (you read that right). More like this particular film? Uh, well, I’d ask if you could be more specific but that’s obviously unnecessary as I know exactly where you’re coming from. As such, I guess the likes of “Mank” passed you by? Or what about the recently released “The Courier”? Not good enough, huh? Yeah, ok. (And those are by no means the only “real” films that have come out recently.)
But I know... those like you miss ‘em good ol’ days, you can’t even with modern cinema (many modern things), and so naturally you need to find a scapegoat. Yup, in this film bubble of ours your type has always blamed whatever genre is currently the most successful and/or popular in the world of film for the apparent downfall of cinema, and since the wildly elitist-disapproved superhero genre remains the biggest in the industry today... and for GOOD reasons... the snobbish boomer xoomer types discredit the hell out of comic films (ANYTHING they don’t approve of) and claim that that’s all they make nowadays. Yet the truth is, things are as eclectic as ever in the world of cinema.
Of course, your kind doesn’t make an effort to keep up with what’s out there (it goes beyond cinema), so this will all fall on deaf ears anyway. Need to complain about modern things you don’t like and, either way, nothing will ever compare to the good ol’ days to y’all, eyyy? Welp, if there’s an excess of those big bad superhero movies these days (still lagging behind pure dramas, artsy pics, comedies, etc.), then news flash: the success of these properties is what’s keeping the industry alive and makes it possible for “real” films to be made. ‘Course... why would film snobs and propagandists against modern films even care, right? Oh, O true cinema lovers.
Anywho... sure, that fantastical comic stuff is all they make for the most part and true cinema be dead. Ok, uninformed snobs and boomas. Unfortunately for y’all, these MIGHTY SUPERHERO FILMS aren’t going anywhere ANYTIME SOON!!! #StayWhiny
Oh please
Excited to see this new one as well! ;)
Yes, and forced to watch it and then complain about it y’all shall XD
Oh yea. Fine actress she is. I repeat… FINE ACTRESS.
Yea, how’s that PUNYsher fuckboy? That’s right, Imma keep it that way, scummy ho. So go cry about it, projecting simpy shitbag.
It’s only the beginning for her

Yes, you do. Very much. As do all your fellow shit-spewing bros up in this mofo. Holy shit
All that smoking and drinking back then tho. You see it in the show obviously.

Stay mad and petty mortal dude bish
I say this misdirect wasn’t worth it. As amazing as it was to see Peters in the MCU, this reveal made me feel like it would have been better to just bring Aaron Taylor-Johnson back or do away with “Fietro” completely. Peters character turning out to be someone other than a multiverse Quicksilver was no less obvious as him actually being Quicksilver (a not-so surprising misdirect.) The difference is, him being revealed as *a* real Quicksilver would’ve been great+preferable.
I suppose a reveal like this was expected, albeit it was more disappointing than I thought it would be. Very reminiscent of the Mandarin reveal in Iron Man 3 (which admittedly I always found hilarious), but I’d argue this is worse considering Peters is known and beloved for his portrayal of a Marvel character that many would’ve loved to see crossover into the MCU — and yet his character seemingly turned out to be a nobody here. If this is truly all they brought him to this universe for, then imo Peters’ casting was a waste.
Having said that! Like some hopeful fans, I’m hoping this reveal itself was a misdirect and that Peters’ character will later be revealed as Woo’s missing witness and/or there’s more to his character (in other words, we’ll find out he’s been Quicksilver all along). Call it a pipe dream at this point, but if they’re going to start dealing with the multiverse soon (MAYBE it won’t be what fans thought it would be though) and WandaVision is part of the same story arc as No Way Home and especially Multiverse of Madness, then not all is lost, lol. At any rate, while I won’t say I wasn’t amused by the ‘Bohner’ reveal, it was ultimately a huge letdown (for now). Fantastic finale nonetheless.
Skyfall all the f’n way. Craig detractors, the lot of you, be damned.
My favorite one yet. Loved the Malcolm in the Middle format+nods, the atmosphere, and really just everything about it. While it answered very little (which is no problem for me), the mystery only deepened and it ended on one helluva cliffhanger.
I’ve been loving the series since the very beginning (it’s been exactly what I hoped it would be), but every episode has only gotten more intriguing and thrilling (as expected). Excited to see where this heads.
Damn, how very insightful. But actually more like.... how very full of crap you are. The biggest.
Lol, for anyone who thinks this troll is anything but a troll. Ooh, one isn’t allowed to criticize something a product so many like without being called a troll? Please, as if isn’t obvious where this O kewl edgelord spouting nonsense like all the others like it up in this cesspool is coming from. (Granted sometimes it’s hard to tell who’s just a detractor of this franchise and just troll trolling, but either way they have the same dumb goal.) So another obvious troll with a sock account.... zzz
Cool! Paulson - as always - was outstanding in this role. Nice video
Something like that, sure. Throw in some sorcery.
That tooth was of no use to him
anymore after he was shot in the face, to put it simply. Visceral.
While I won’t bet on it, I’d say it’s not unlikely either. Maybe they’ll use an updated version of it. Wouldn’t mind whether they do or don’t tbh.
^Natalie>
Both Natalie & Anne look good to me. But yes, Natalie a lot more both then and now. That’s it.
I only disagree with about 100% of this (like the majority and yours truly does with the OP about the phenomenal Endgame). Or something super, super close to that, yeah. Hehe.
With that, THANK YOU Disney for doing the week to week release! (Really love how they’re dedicated to doing the opposite of Netflix with virtually all their original streaming shows.) So much better and more fulfilling than a binge watch. And thankfully, it looks to me like many (not everyone obviously) used to binging new streaming shows are totally on board with this approach. Now other streaming services are going with the old way of dropping episodes weekly... and I’m loving it! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy binging almost as much as the next person (and I shall do that with WandaVision after it concludes). But! I’m glad the binge-format we’ve gotten accustomed to has far from completely taken over. The traditional format just works better for certain shows (definitely mystery shows, high-profile shows, etc). Meh, why mince words? I f’n prefer weekly! Love them cliffhangers and the anticipation/excitement of having a new episode every week. Mmm! Keep it going, Disney!#ThisIsTheWay
Lastly, unimpressed critics and overall detractors of WandaVision be damned! From the boring anti-MCU trolls, the fans who wanted something more familiar to basically everyone who spoke too early/are foolishly claiming that this series is pointless and it’s going nowhere (and naturally there’s no shortage of any of these naysayers up here in this oh-so-positive-place)... whether you end up admitting it or not proven wrong you shall! ;) This series is going into much different places and it’s been doing it splendidly, if you will. This is only the beginning of this new era of the MCU, so said detractors watch out.
Lmao. That’s like... Un-ception.
