Winter Soldier was boring.
Civil War was boring.
Endgame was a train smash
For you, yes. And duh, also for the naysayers one sees around this place and other places where it’s all about negativity. To each their own, I guess.
But fortunately! The good ol’ majority (especially those who understandably still hold the brilliant and badass The Winter Soldier in the highest regard, and also those who didn’t see the more subtle but no less riveting Endgame as a step down from Infinity War) feels the exact opposite. As is, majority’s right. :)
The Russos ruled this cinematic universe. Nuff said
There have been rumors/supposed leaks about Quicksilver returning in this. Granted it’s hard to trust rumors like this if they don’t come from reputable outlets, though some of these reports sound credible. But putting that aside, I personally always thought Wanda’s brother could possibly show up in this series. It would only make sense. As such, I believe it’s more likely than unlikely to happen.
And while this has yet to be confirmed by the studio, it’s been reported that Evan Peters is going to appear in this series (the person who made such claims over a year ago has a pretty solid track record when it comes to this stuff). Naturally some are convinced that he’s going to be reprising his X-Men role, but others think there’s no chance that will happen. Now who knows how likely it is that he’ll be returning as his version of Quicksilver (there has been speculation that he could be playing Mephisto, maybe Mephisto “disguised” as Quicksilver) but since this show will tie directly into Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, I wouldn’t rule anything out. All in all, I do think there’s a strong chance Wanda’s brother will return in Wandavision in some form. We’ll see. Loving the show.
That she most certainly is. Lovely
Finally. Liking what I see
Would like to have a 4K copy of it myself (physical of course). ;)
Was there ever any doubt it would happen? *checks previous discussions all over online*
Oh, I see there was. Lol. Well, in addition to the R rating it’s officially going to be part of the MCU as it was just confirmed by big Kev himself. Hell yeah.
Kewl detractors... sorry not sorry! This shall be lit
Lol... stereotyped film snobs yo. Or also just Nolan snobs. And I like his work myself, but man have we’ve heard this tired boomer criticism for over a decade from you kewl CGI-hating snobs over and over. It’s boring.
And too bad (actually not bad at all) a number of proud CGI-fests in recent years turned out to be so much better and impactful than Nolan’s latest disjointed effort. Don’t tell that to said snobs, though. Whoops...
Safety Not Guaranteed
Legion
Ingrid Goes West & Parks and Rec (tied)
She’s captivating. That’s right
It’s all Stranger Things’ fault.
Not really. But actually...
I'm probably in the minority
No, you are absolutely in the minority. Pixar for the most part has made nothing but top-notch films (they easily rival any studio out there), and Ratatouille is anything but a bad film. It’s very much one of Pixar’s best. Nay? Well, most (obviously that doesn’t include the usual online naysayers) beg to differ.
Peace
Look What You Made Me Do. Or mirrorball.
But keep doing your thing, Ms. Swift! (Reich wing nazis keep projecting and being pathetic.)
Ruined the whole film... whew, luckily I don’t think that way! Lol. Paula in this installment was perfection, that’s what she was! So badly wanted to see her return to the franchise after Ghost Protocol.
Yes. We (many) absolutely need it. Some (mainly those in always such positive places like these) don’t want it, then don’t watch. Simple... but not really.
Excited for it I am.
Yup, that wild Tom definitely isn’t gonna slow down anytime soon (you can always expect him to take it to a new level with every installment in this series). :D Fallout is great.
Sure. Now why don’t you go ahead and make them stop? I’ll wait, oppressor. XD
But no. And no.
With the approval of so many, they’re fortunately going to keep making more of these films+shows (that will FINALLY move on from the Skywalker folks — Obi-Wan notwithstanding) and expand this universe until... forever. And fascists (I repeat, fascists) like you who DEMAND them to stop naturally can’t do anything about it but cry excessively and shout agenda like the true propagandist and oh-so-snowflaky PC white privileged reich wingers that you are. In closing, hateful and crying reactionary chuds (hey y’all) who live in alternate reality and want them good ol’ pro-exclusion PC days back (days when chuds lived in an apparently 1950’s environment when they were never seriously challenged on anything and affected by the presence of “the others”, thus they never got triggered like they do in these slightly less pro-ahole days) gonna hate and cry.
The multiverse.
What an Aunt May tho ;)
He’s very good at playing villains in general (it’s probably what he’s best known for). The moment I recognized him I knew he was going to give a memorable villainous portrayal (it almost sucks the character got blasted because I bet he could have been one of the most standout villains in Star Wars). But all three actors completely knocked it out of the park in this tense scene. Tremendous work.
This moment https://i.insider.com/5de2ca2b79d7577f925703f2?width=1124&format=jpeg became one of the most talked about and classic Baby Yoda moments. It immediately received the meme treatment and everything.
So, I’m certain if we had seen Grogu eat/sip soup in only that one episode, they would have made toys based off this one scene regardless (they knew Baby Yoda with that bowl of soup was going to be memorable). But whether or not it’s his favorite food, he sure loves to eat!
I can ask what you feel is "safe" about Logan and TDK?
Confession: I only wrote that to get asked this exact question. XD
But actually, I suppose I did wanted to point out the obvious, i.e., those two highly acclaimed comic films are the more popular films and thus they appear on virtually everyone’s Top 10 Greatest Comic Book Films of All Time list (not saying they don’t deserve the praise they’ve gotten btw), whereas a film like Days of Future Past (the second best-reviewed entry in the X-Men franchise which I legit don’t find to be a lesser film than Logan) does not. I get it, though. So that’s all.
