i am consistent when it comes to these things and would condemn both (if that happened for the expendables)

unfortunately i am surrounded by partisans and extremists like HelloSIdney who will just slander anyone who dares not follow the same script as themselves.

The difference is;
- Women have never cared for macho action flicks.

- Women aren't actively celebrating or hoping for those flicks to fail. They're simply not on their radar at all. Did you see a bunch of radical feminists complaining about Expendables 4?

- Everyone knows who the target demographics for those movies are and there is no active misandrist campaign against those movies. So of course if they blamed women everyone would laugh at them because everyone knows the movie isn't marketed for women at all.



Contrast that to;
- Marvel being a big franchise, popular amongst everyone, including men. Many men profess to love superhero/comic book movies. So why does one movie having women as the superheros bother them so much? The answer is blatant. Misogyny.

- Men actively hoping this movie flops because it's 'woke' or 'shitting on men' (how???). Many are now celebrating it's upcoming box office flop. Name me one time women online collectively wanted a movie to flop because it was a movie made for men. The only times I've seen women collectively want a movie to fail is when it stars an actor who has serious sexual abuse/assault allegations against him. Even then there is no brigading done (spamming 1/10 ratings on IMDb and so on).

- Men crying that Marvel is now the 'MsheU'... outright openly complaining about women being in Marvel movies. Yet people will claim they're not misogynists when their sole critcism for this movie is that it stars women.



People who can't see the difference in how men react to movies made for women and vice versa, are being purposely ignorant. It's not women running around the internet shitting on anything made for men, complaining that movies feature men. It's always the alt right incels who complain when a movie stars women, non-white people or non-heterosexuals. It's a one way conflict. Misogynists/racists/homophobes complaining every time a movie isn't made for straight white men.

I'm a man. I don't HATE it, I just don't have any interest in it at all.

I, and many men, don't see the appeal.
Aren't the WOMEN suppose to step up and support this stuff? What's that? Oh, they generally dont spend as much on movies as guys do? Darn those stats, facts, and realities. What about MY FEELINGS???? We'll get them all equalized someday! :D

they make a movie not for men. they complain "this wasnt made for you males thats why you dont like it (like Brie did)". then complain when men, by far the biggest demographic of comic book fans, dont see it. and not only complain they didn't see it, say it was due to mysogny and sexism. rinse and repeat.
